Distorted Yan Addon

This add-on adds 얀샋ㄷ요무 (also known as Distorted Yan Vismok) from Library of Ruina as a post-wither boss with mechanics and attacks similar to the ones seen from the original game.

To summon the boss, you will need to craft and use the new Prescript Invitation item.

Defeating the boss gives you the Book of 얀샋ㄷ요무, which when used will give you the new weapon called Distorted Index Blade.

The best way to experience the addon is by trying it yourself, so go ahead and try the for yourself if you're interested!

Note: This add-on only works on version 1.21.70 and above. No experimental toggles are required for this add-on to work.

  • Changes to the script and how much damage the boss takes.
  • Chain effect can now be disabled by sneaking while using the Prescript Invitation.
  • Balance changes to the Distorted Blade damage from 5 - 40 into 18 - 33.

  • You can now target the Distorted Blade at the location you're facing while sneaking.
  • Distorted Index Blade now summons Distorted Blade when the weapon is finished/stopped using.

    the addon is not bad my friend who always plays library of ruina really enjoys it
    I noticed two issues
    1.the cd of distorted index blade always cancel the summoning the big distorted blade
    2.sometimes I cannot summon the big distorted blade where I want specifically
    My device is pc

      Hello Noozipe, glad to hear the feedback and to answer the question :
      1. This is sometimes caused when the player's input isn't detected by minecraft, I could try changing some things here and there but I can't do much about the cooldown cancelling the attacks. You should be able to use it again sometimes though.
      2. The distorted blade spawns at the player when it doesn't detect an entity to target, I'm planning to add a sneaking function so you can aim the distorted blade wherever you want.

        I don't know if this is a bug or what, when he took out his chain hand my fps suddenly dropped and lagged, even though it was only for a moment but it was a bit annoying

            Sorry for the late response, but it might be caused by the scripts which spawns the particles. I'll see what I can do to prevent this
