January Update on ModBay
We congratulate everyone on the New Year 2025! We wish this year to fulfill all your wishes and achieve your goals! 🎄🎉
For the beginning of this year we have prepared a new update, adding new useful features. Let's take a look at them!
Updated post cards
Previously, the cover of posts was displayed first, followed by the title and description. We've updated their order by moving the title and description above the post cover.
Profile covers
Profiles are now more customizable and you can now upload your own cover. JPG, PNG and GIF formats are supported (GIF is converted to PNG by cutting out 1 frame).
Verified accounts
A special profile checkbox for active users or famous personalities. The check mark does not provide additional benefits on the site.
Rules for obtaining it:
- Completeness. Avatar, profile cover, social media links, description.
- Profile activity. The account must have regular or updated content, as well as comments.
You can send a verification application to [email protected]. Include a link to your ModBay account, as well as social media accounts and documents if you are a known public figure.
Highlighting authors and guest comments
Previously, distinguishing between post authors, users, and guests in comments was challenging. Now, comments from Authors and Guests are highlighted with special labels and colors.

A new block, located before post comments, is designed to enhance user interaction and help authors promote their content.
Load more
Previously, navigation required refreshing the entire page. Now, a content upload button allows you to upload content and comments without reloading the page.
