ModBay FAQ

ModBay is a site dedicated to Minecraft: Bedrock Edition, where everyone can share their creations - Add-ons, Maps or Resource Packs - with others.

ModBay is not affiliated with Mojang Studios and has no ties to the development of Minecraft.

Having your own account on ModBay opens up additional features that will increase in the future. Examples of features for authorized users:

• Customize your profile by uploading your own avatar, specifying your social networks, and more
• Ability to rate posts
• Ability to publish your own posts
• Ability to participate in rankings

Get more likes on your posts and comments. The first 3 users in the top of the rating for the last 3 months get crowns. The crown is displayed for all users in their profile.

Go to edit your profile. Links to social networks can be specified in the corresponding fields in the Social networks block.

You can do this in profile editing. Scroll down and find the Security block. Click Link next to Google or X to start the account linking process.

This is just an additional method of authorization and it has no benefits.

When adding a new post or editing exist, scroll down and find the Save draft button.

All posts on ModBay have the following statuses:

• Approved (not displayed)
• Draft
• On moderation
• Rejected

All these statuses are displayed as tabs in your personal profile. You can open your profile to see the current status of your post.

Go to your profile and note the status of the post. Or open the REJECTED tab to find the reason.

The reject reason is also displayed when editing a post.

In the editor toolbar, click on the eye icon. We recommend that you place the cursor in advance where you want to create the spoiler.

You can also pre-select an area of text and then create a spoiler. The selected text will be wrapped in a spoiler.

Click on the three dots and select Complain. Write the reason for the complaint and submit it. You can also contact us to send your complaint.

Many social networks have special bots for automatic reposting of publications via RSS. There are also special applications for this purpose. This allows you to get the latest published publications.

ModBay has different variations of RSS feed:

• Global: https://modbay.org/rss.xml
• Mods & Add-ons: https://modbay.org/mods/rss.xml
• Maps: https://modbay.org/maps/rss.xml
• Texture Packs: https://modbay.org/textures/rss.xml

If you want to customize the feed for a specific user, form the link as https://modbay.org/user/username/rss.xml - change username. Example: https://modbay.org/user/DolphinMasterMB/rss.xml

Rating is divided into two categories - global and by comments.

• Global is formed on the basis of likes to posts and comments.
• The comments ranking is formed on the basis of likes to comments.

Collect more likes to rise in the top.
