Well this is kinda hard to explain but an ARG horror addon is a type of horror mod (usually a slow burner) that corrupts your world ( in some cases) and has lore that you need to uncover but it is a puzzle and is really hard! (ciphers, binary code, and more) but best of all they have a really good atmosphere. Like something is in your game.

This has been asked many times, and still I can't do it cause of I don't have the knowledge for it, since i don't make one.

If those aren't showing up anymore in the Legacy version, that might mean that addon version got even less supported by Minecraft! It's kinda hard to maintain all those freaking addons lmao!😅👀👻😝😱🤔😆
