Can you fix the problem where herobrine barely appears

The chat does work but you still can’t see him

Question: how does the redstone cube summoning work? I have tested it before, and it never seems to use it on a player, but it will use it when fighting that of a warden. I have tried getting very far away from it, that doesn’t seem to do anything.
