Minecraft Preview 26.50.26: Abandoned Camps Avoid Villages
Minecraft Bedrock Preview 26.50.26 continues refining Drop 3 features with fixes to Cushions, Abandoned Camps, Explorer Maps, and Straw Beds.
Cushion Fixes
Fishing rod bobbers now consistently break cushions instead of passing through them when they land inside the cushion's hitbox. Cushions can be placed inside non-full blocks that already have a cushion on top, and a bug that let players stack a cushion directly on top of another one while moving quickly has been closed. Cushions can no longer be renamed with a name tag, and they no longer block vibrations when placed, broken, or interacted with.
Abandoned Camps
Camps are now less likely to generate directly on top of villages, reducing overlap between the two structures. Missing trees in Cherry Grove and Old Growth Birch Forest campsite variants have also been fixed.
Explorer Maps
Sixteen different Poplar items had their map colors corrected to match their actual in-game appearance, including logs, doors, fences, signs, slabs, stairs, trapdoors, and both stripped log variants. Previously these showed up with inaccurate colors when viewed on an Explorer Map.
Sound and Other Fixes
Jumping and landing on a Straw Bed or a Shelf Mushroom now triggers the correct subtitle for players using closed captions. Straw Bed pillows now render correctly when two beds are placed side by side. Red Shrubs no longer flicker when placed next to another Red Shrub in multiplayer, and wool stairs and slabs can no longer be used in the painting crafting recipe.
