Minecraft Bedrock Preview 26.60.21 is a smaller patch covering biome generation, accessibility improvements, and a batch of command fixes.

Lush Caves Take Priority in Humid Regions

Lush Caves now generate instead of Dripstone Caves or Sulfur Caves in very humid regions, giving that biome a stronger claim over cave generation in those areas going forward.

Command Fixes

A bug that kicked players when a command included a selector matching no entities, such as targeting a nonexistent player name or tag, has been resolved. Two other fixes address block replacement commands: some blocks lost their correct redstone functionality after being placed with /fill or /setblock, and pistons could get their arm stuck in a neighboring block under the same conditions. Both are now fixed.

Accessibility

  • Screen narration now correctly announces navigation control positions in the Realms Timeline tab
  • Closed captions for baby turtles and baby polar bears now display the correct baby-specific text instead of the adult subtitle
  • Several narration enumeration problems inside modals have been fixed
  • Text background opacity options in the Accessibility tab were reordered with updated descriptions

Other Fixes

Snow now produces vibrations when placed, which affects sculk sensors and warden detection. Shelf Mushroom textures were updated to match Java Edition, removing hidden faces from the model. Abandoned Camps in swamp biomes no longer contain a mycelium block, and camps in general no longer generate singular coarse dirt blocks. Sitting on a Cushion now positions the player two pixels lower for a more natural look.
