Minecraft Dungeons II Is Out Now
Minecraft Dungeons II is officially out. The action RPG sequel launched on September 29 for Steam, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2, bringing a new story, a new dimension, and a lot more loot to chase.
The Illager High Council
The story picks up after the events of the first game, when strange rifts started appearing across the Overworld, infusing mobs with odd energy and spreading sculk across large stretches of terrain. The cause is now revealed: the illagers are back, led by a trio called the Illager High Council, made up of the Prime Enchanter, the Supreme Evoker, and the Grand Illusioner. They have a new power, and they're launching coordinated attacks across the Overworld.
Combat and Co-op
Expect new enemies and tougher encounters than before. You can play solo or team up with up to 4 players in online or couch co-op. The arsenal includes weapons, armor, enchants, talismans, and artifacts, all of which can be mixed and matched to build your own playstyle.
The Sift
The game's headline location is the Sift, a previously unknown dimension filled with strange mobs, unusual environments, and secrets to uncover. The illagers have made their way in too, so the dimension is as much a battleground as a place to explore. As revealed during Minecraft LIVE, the Sift is also planned to become the fourth dimension in the main Minecraft game on Java and Bedrock Edition next year.
