JavaBE - .jar Into .mcaddon
Go to files
Overview
JavaBE is a free Windows desktop tool that helps convert Java Edition mod content into Bedrock add-on format. It is built to reduce manual setup work and automate the hardest parts of conversion, so creators can test faster and spend less time fixing pack structure issues by hand.
What JavaBE Does
JavaBE processes user-supplied mod files and automatically builds Bedrock-ready output, including:
- Entity/model conversion and geometry cleanup
- Animation conversion and controller generation
- Texture/sound/particle/language conversion (when supported)
- Behavior + resource pack structure generation
- Manifest/UUID/dependency setup
- Validation + auto-fixes for common Bedrock load errors
- Script bridge fallback for Java logic that cannot be mapped 1:1
Important Reality (Current State)
JavaBE is actively in development, and not every Java mod can be fully ported yet.
Some mods convert very well. Others may convert partially, need manual cleanup, or fail due to engine differences between Java and Bedrock (custom rendering, deep Forge/Fabric hooks, advanced networking logic, etc.). We are continuously improving compatibility and adding support over time.
Responsible Use / Creator Rights
JavaBE does not include or grant rights to third-party mod content. Users are responsible for following original creator licenses and permissions.
- Do not sell/paywall converted output unless original rights explicitly allow it
- Do not redistribute converted content unless the original creator/license permits it
Platform
Windows desktop only
