If you’re putting on the resource pack, you can ignore that. It most likely means the behavior pack, and most of the time the behavior pack installs along with the resource pack.

Have you tried renaming the .whatever part of the file to .mcaddon? That might help, or finding an unzipping website specifically for unzipping mc addons!
