Changing the level would be ineffective. There are so many values that would need to be changed then. I'd use a tool for this purpose, to change the biome instead. You can do this yourself. I recommend "Blocktopograph" from Google Play!

PS, I don't think the map broke in 1.20.60. Some bugs are always there :(

Thanks for your feedback! I slowly worked on some features in the last year since the last updte. I'm not focussing on this project, so it'll still take time and I'm not motivated anymore to add such big features you described.
However some of your ideas were already addressed by me.
I wanted to make the van less interesting to force players in the dangerous area. It'll change with new cams.
I'd be interested what features broke with 1.20.60.
Besides that, please don't wait for the new update, I work on it VERY rarely. You might like the "Fan's Update" of my map. Continued by other people, available at MCPEDL (search Phasmophobia).

Wow, then you must've seen the greater part of development in the last years.
But I'm afraid older versions (at least before 3.6) fall short of expectations mechanic wise.

There are unofficial websites that offer former versions (fmcpe.com).
But these are only worse gameplay wise, sadly I can't find old versions with maps like High School & Asylum anymore.
