The most basic type of chocobo can be found in the wild and can be tamed by feeding it Gysahl Greens, chocobos also come in 10 different colors, which, for now, can only be obtained through breeding. (The Flame Chocobo is the only one that can be obtained through the Nether)
Gysahl Greens can also be found in the wild. From them, you can obtain seeds that you can use to grow your own Gysahl Greens. When breaking one, there's also a chance of obtaining a Lovely Gysahl Green, which you'll need to breed your chocobos.
You can use the Lovely Gysahl to make Chocobos breed and produce offspring. Doing so will result in an egg that needs to be placed in a nest, and with enough space, it will hatch into a Chicobo. The Chicobo is the juvenile form of a Chocobo, which is born wild.
POWERS AND STATS
You can find these fruits in dungeon chests, and use them to unlock the chocobo's abilities, or you can also use your XP.
LIST OF POWERS:
- Glide (Gives the chocobo a slow falling)
- Dive (Gives the chocobo the power to dive)
- Fly (Gives the chocobo the power to fly)
- Sprint (Increases the speed of the chocobo)
With the Chocopedia, you can view your chocobo's stats and see which abilities it has.
(For now, the stats will be the same for all chocobos, but this will be improved in future updates.)
