Legendary Combat V1.1
Go to files
Revamps combat with Souls-like mechanics: stamina, parry/block systems, focus and skills, plus new weapons and configurable combat modes for tense, skill-based battles.
Welcome to Legendary Combat! Thanks for considering downloading it :)
In this addon I have revamped all aspects of combat to suit the likes of souls games like Sekiro and Elden Ring.
Features
- Light attack and heavy attack systems each with their own damage, animations, reach and speed diversifying every battle
- Blocking and parrying system to defend yourself and make fights skilled
- Stamina system to keep fights grounded
- Focus system to reward parrying (explained below)
- A line of new weapons to diversify fights
- Skills to add spice to battles
Attacking
Light attacks are your basic attacks on swords; they deal their original damage (be sure to activate combat mode before you fight or else it won’t work).
Heavy attacks are slower but more damaging — great for dealing large chunks of damage but they leave you open to parries and counterattacks.
Skills are special moves with unique abilities to diversify weapons. They are activated by jumping and clicking when you have enough focus.
Stamina and focus
Stamina is the main thing to look out for in a fight. Running out of it leaves you wide open as it regenerates over time. You use stamina by attacking, sprinting, blocking, and parrying, so every move counts. The best fighter knows how to conserve stamina.
Focus is a system designed to reward skilled players. Any time you parry you lose minimal stamina and gain 1 focus. If you reach 10 focus you get a speed and resistance buff for 20 seconds, or you can spend focus to use skills.
Defence
To defend an attack you crouch. The main technique is parrying: crouch just as you are about to be hit and you won’t take damage. If your timing is off you can block the attack to negate 50% of the damage, which consumes stamina.
Available weapons
Every sword is opted into the system.
Their skill is Jump Slash, where you slash upwards sending anyone in front of you flying; Netherite increases the damage further than other materials.
My custom mace line also opts into the system. Their skill is Determination, where you raise your weapon into the air and grant yourself a minor regeneration and resistance boost for 5 seconds. The Netherite perk also temporarily increases damage done to enemies.

You get this on spawn — here’s how it looks:
That's all the addon contains for now — thanks for reading!
