Overview
The Yule Man adds a terrifying new monster from the SCP universe, referred to as SCP-4666 (The Yule Man). This mod introduces a stalking, highly aggressive humanoid that appears during a special Weissnacht event in snowy regions.
Weissnacht Event
The Yule Man emerges during the Weissnacht Event — a mysterious occurrence that activates in snowy biomes when specific moon phases align (moon phases 4, 5 or 6 during daytime). Over several in-game days the Yule Man watches players from afar and draws closer each night as snowfall intensifies.
Behavior Phases
SCP-4666 spawns only in snowy regions and progresses through five phases over several in-game days. At first it keeps its distance, observing players before moving closer each day as snowfall increases. Coming too close within the first four days will make it vanish.
- Early phases: distant stalking and observation; will vanish if approached too closely in early days.
- Day 4: the Yule Man can hang from ceilings above a player and will instantly vanish when looked at.
- Day 5: becomes fully aggressive — constantly tracking the player, attacking with extreme speed and power.
Abilities and Combat
SCP-4666 is highly intelligent and dangerous. It attacks with brutal speed and strength, using weapons such as axes, knives, or saws. It can break glass, doors, wood and fences; it can break shields, leap at players, climb walls, and even freeze water as it walks across it. When it strikes, the aftermath is described as blood, ice, and eerie laughter.
Death and Rewards
If SCP-4666 kills a player, it places a Present Block containing a grotesque Fleshy Doll made from the victim's remains.
Containment & Despawn
SCP-4666 despawns during daylight if it is exposed and no player is nearby; this will stop the Weissnacht Event until it triggers again. The Yule Man can be contained using a nametag, which stops further Weissnacht Events unless it fails to despawn.
Models and Languages
