I’m honestly confused because it never works when I try and do it like nothing happens even if I wait for a while , is there something specific I should do on my minecraft world to get this to work

He works normally on survival mode, but when I tried interacting with him in creative he takes damage if I stand 4-3 blocks near him.

I got so lonely in my mc world that i started chatting to him out of loneliness, all he replied was scrambled glitching letters and gave me blindness 😢 your knocker mod was also on so when i was looking around frantically with blindness i suddenly agro the Knocker and in a panic they both made me fall onto my trashbin (lava pit), is this teamwork
