I forgot that, mods are also included. I have a lot of large addons and small one includded, which the delay will always happen from time to time. The reason again for it iz when theres alot when there is so many entities to load and stuff... The only way to fix this is just restart your Minecraft every 10-20 mins or so, you could also adjust the render distance to kinda fix the problem. Back to the topic DolphinMasters mod uses alot of coding of an entity which causes the lag and it is 'unfixable' for the mod developer...(Only the mojang developerz can fix it, cuz the problem lays within the code of Minecraft)

It's based on luck and awareness lol! He does HIS stuff just barely around notice! By default HE is intended to be barely noticeable! If you would like almost instant encounters/sightings, you might wanna build a Shrine! Cheers! ; )
