About
Do you like alpha/beta/old versions of Minecraft? Or would you simply like to see or try things removed from said versions, then you will love this addon! To begin with, it brings back the first alpha biome of Minecraft, that is, the forest with neon green grass, and never before seen versions of some mobs, such as wolves, enderman, among others.
Alpha Biome: Remember the old forests from the early versions of Minecraft, with their grass and neon green foliage? This add-on recaptures that atmosphere. While not an exact replica, this biome is the closest to the original. Alpha versions of roses and dandelions also grow here.
Horror Alpha Forest: This biome is similar to the Alpha Forest but with a more extensive and dense fog, creating a feeling of loneliness and terror. Fewer animals spawn here!
Mushroom Forest:
A place where giant mushrooms grow. Animals live here, and you can also find pigmen villages. Note that pigmen villages will only appear if the Old Pigman Plus is activated.
Classic Plains:
The first biome in Minecraft history. It has few features, but it's an ideal place to build.
Indev Hell:
Refers to the old "Hell" map from the Indev versions: a world made entirely of dirt, with few trees and a huge lava lake. It's always dark, monsters spawn constantly, and there are no animals.
Legacy Frozen Ocean:
An unimplemented variant of the Frozen Ocean. Similar to a normal frozen ocean, but without icebergs, it resembles a flat, icy plain.
Savanna Plateau Plateau:
A rare variant of the savanna, which no longer spawns since the "Caves & Cliffs: Part II" update. The vegetation here is more vibrant, and rainfall is more frequent.
Beta Ocean:
An old ocean from the Beta versions, composed of earth, clay, and sand. It is inhabited by Beta squid!
Seasonal Forest: is a removed humid biome, which existed in the game prior to the Adventure Update. They were a lower density version of the forest biome only capable of spawning oak trees.
Rainforest: were lush, wet biomes with many trees, which had a 1 in 3 chance of being large trees, instead of 1 in 10 like all other biomes. They were similar to forests but had a large amount of tall grass and ferns and lush green grass due to temperature and rainfall requirements.
Shrubland: are largely identical to the savanna biome, featuring few trees and no tall grass.
Ice Desert: are a removed snow-covered biome, which existed prior to the Adventure Update. The biome consisted of large sand flats, with a snow layer cover.
Tundra: is a removed snow-covered biome which the precursor of the current snowy plains, but with fewer trees and no tall grass. Tundras existed in the game prior to the Adventure Update (Beta 1.8 for Java Edition) or in versions before Alpha 0.9.0 for Pocket Edition.
Alpha Cow: It is the first version of the cow, it spawns in the Alpha Biome, it is just like a common cow!
Alpha Sheep: It is the first MCPE sheep, you can dye it with up to 31 different colors, 16 colors are the old MCPE wool, and the other 15 colors are the first cloth from the Java version. When dying it does not drop Raw Mutton.
Rainbow Sheep: It is a sheep variant from Minecraft Earth!
It rarely spawns in plains biomes!
You can use shears to get its rainbow wool, or kill it!
Alpha Wolf: Before the wolf that we all know, there were two prototypes that never saw the light of day, a beta version, and a pre-release.
Prerelease Wolf:
Beta Wolf:
Alpha Creeper: This creature uses melee attacks and explodes when it dies!
Spawns in Alpha Biomes!
Brown Spider: Did you know that the first version of spiders were brown? They are always aggressive, they spawn in the Alpha Biomes!
Creeper: The creeper texture has been updated to match the jappa grass texture!
Creepyman: The enderman used to have green eyes.
Be careful if you look at this enderman in his eyes, he will blind you for a few seconds, he also has up to 50 health points, and he teleports more than normal!
Upon death he can drop an ender eye.
Spawns in The Alpha Biome!
Shadowman: The first version of the enderman shown to the public was different, it was more terrifying, it had white eyes and they used zombie sounds!
It has only 20 health points, and burns in sunlight, but obscures players who are near it, and attacks players who cannot see its eyes.
He spawns rarely, and there is a small chance he will drop diamonds upon death!
Spawns in The Alpha Biome!
Giant: an entity from the Java version that exists but has no use, has 100 health points, and causes 26 damage on easy difficulty, 50 on normal, and 76 on hard, it is twice as fast as a zombie, at the same time dying drops a lot of rotten flesh. Spawns rarely in Plains and Alpha biomes!
White Enderman: Is a rare type of Enderman. It is a white colored Enderman, which commonly has green eyes but can also have purple ones, It is in version Beta 1.8 and other older versions.
This mob was a product of the haze effect in the 1.8 version, this effect was also produced in the Spiders; due to its black color the endermans and spiders looked white as it produced an inverse color effect.
He has 80 health points and is faster when he gets angry, using a pumpkin will not prevent him from getting angry at you. When hit, he causes weakness for 5 seconds!
Water doesn't hurt him!
Diamond Chicken: It doesn't generate naturally, it's just like a chicken, but instead of laying eggs it lays diamonds!
Redstone Bug: They spawn in caves, when they die they have a chance to multiply!
Pony: They spawn in the Shrubland and are tamed with carrots, potatoes, or beets. Feeding them a Golden Apple gives them speed, feeding them an enchanted Golden Apple gives them a health boost, and eating a cake will make them levitate!
Cow Horse: They spawn in the Shrubland and are tamed with wheat. Feeding them a Golden Apple gives them speed, feeding them an enchanted Golden Apple gives them a health boost, and eating a cake will make them levitate!
- Indev House: The starting house was a structure that acted as the starting place when first spawned in a Java Edition Indev world. There were two versions of this structure, one made of mossy cobblestone that contained chests inside, within which you could find unique items/blocks; the other made of planks and the floor of cobblestone.
