L4D2 Tank Add-On

Thumbnail: L4D2 Tank Add-On Go to files

This Add-On brings the Tank from Left 4 Dead 2 into Minecraft Bedrock, including the 3 different skins from the original game! Also includes the music that plays when you encounter a tank.

Tank from The Sacrifice Map

Features

The Tank has a whopping 500 health, is slightly faster than the player when walking, and can throw rocks when they can't attack their target for some time. Their eyesight is also quite far, being able to see 32 blocks away to spot a target, so make sure to sneak behind them when possible!

Behavior & Combat

The Tank does not seem to like wandering around, so when spotting one, you should be able to avoid them easily (or not). The Tank, unlike most mobs, always stay on fire when set on fire. They also take extra damage from fire and lava sources, making fire aspect, flame, and lava the most effective way to deal with one.

Spawning & Drops

The Tank spawns very rarely in dark places, with a limit of 3 on the surface and 1 underground. Defeating one grants a plentiful amount of rotten flesh, alongside some extra loot that might drop from a regular zombie. One could say that there is no point in trying to face one expecting any great rewards.

Audio & Credits

All audio and music are owned by Valve Corporation; I do not own any assets except for the models, code, and animations that are included in the addon.

Please increase health to 1,500 hit points, and play the spawn melody like in the original game
  2. Very nice add-on, btw can you make Bull from WWZ? Just asking

Haven't played it yet, so trying to recreate one would be quite difficult and I don't really have any plans to do that anytime soon

Those are planned, but very much depends whenever I had the time to develop it
  4. The mob is very easy to evade, perhaps adding better speed, area of attack and special attacks that *neutralize the player's movement* will help this PvE combat problem.

yeah, I had noticed that by testing with it for a while, I'll probably change it once I understand how to make AoE attacks without breaking the entire entity system (I have to)
