Random Item Challenge

This addon brings the viral Random item challenge to your world! Every few seconds, a completely random item will appear in your inventory. Will the item gods gift you Netherite, or burden you with Dead Bushes? There is only one way to find out!

How It Works

Once the game starts, a countdown appears on the screen. When it hits zero, EVERY player gets a unique random item added to their inventory. Admins have full control over the speed and status of the challenge using a simple in-game menu.

Loot Tiers & Chaos Mode

Customize your experience with two distinct loot pools!

• Normal Mode (Tier 1): Perfect for a balanced survival challenge. Drops blocks, food, wood, and basic gear.
• Chaos Mode (Tier 2): Enables the full 150+ Item pool! Expect Netherite, Elytras, Spawn Eggs, and TNT.
• Rarity Sounds: Hear a satisfying "Level Up" sound and see a special Title Notification when you get Legendary loot!

Fully Configurable Timer

You decide the pace of the game!

• Slow & Steady: Set the timer to 60+ seconds for a standard survival let's play.
• Absolute Mayhem: Set the timer to 1 second to flood inventories and create instant chaos.

Admin Control Panel

No complicated commands needed!

• Hold a Clock and Interact (Right-Click) to open the Settings Menu.
• Start/Stop Game: Pause the challenge anytime.
• Toggle Tiers: Instantly switch between Safe Mode and Chaos Mode.
• Change Timer: Use a simple slider to adjust the speed.
• Force Drop: Manually trigger an item drop for everyone instantly.

Getting Started

Step 1: Become an Admin

To access the settings menu, you must give yourself the admin tag: /tag @s add admin

Step 2: Open the Menu

Hold a Clock in your hand and Interact (Right-Click / Long Press).

Step 3: Play!

Click START GAME. Watch the Action Bar countdown and survive!

• New Loot Tiers
  • Tier 1 (Normal Mode): Default pool with survival essentials, blocks, food, and basic gear for balanced play.
  • Tier 2 (Chaos Mode): Secondary pool added containing OP loot (Netherite, Elytra, Totems), dangerous mob Spawn Eggs, and Redstone items.
• Admin Configuration
  • Added a new toggle in the Settings Menu: "Enable/Disable Tier 2 Loot".
  • Admins can now switch instantly between "Safe Mode" and "Chaos Mode" without restarting the game.
• Rarity Sound Effects
  • Common Drops: Play a soft 'Pop' sound.
  • Legendary Drops: Play a high-pitched 'Level Up' sound and display a "LEGENDARY DROP" title on screen.
  • Mode Switch: A global Ender Dragon Growl plays when Chaos Mode is enabled to warn all players.
• Loot Expansion: Increased the total item pool to over 150+ items.
• Visuals: Updated the Action Bar to display the current mode (e.g., Next Drop: 25s [CHAOS MODE]).
