Refresh villager professions instantly using a deliberate sneak+use shears interaction on workstations — fully vanilla, multiplayer-compatible, and time-saving for exact trades like librarian mending.

Managing villager trades shouldn’t require constantly breaking and replacing workstations.

Quick Villager Trade Cycle lets you refresh villager professions instantly using a simple, intentional interaction — while keeping everything fully vanilla.

🛠 How It Works

To avoid accidental use, the system requires a deliberate action:

  1. Sneak (Crouch)
  2. Right-click / Use
  3. Hold Shears
  4. Use them on a villager workstation
  5. The workstation will quickly reset in place, allowing the villager to refresh their trades.
  • Vanilla sounds are played to keep the interaction immersive and natural.
  • No menus.
  • No commands.
  • No UI changes.

🏘 Supported Workstations

Compatible with all standard villager job blocks, including:

  • Lectern
  • Smithing Table
  • Blast Furnace
  • Composter
  • Fletching Table
  • Loom
  • Cartography Table
  • Stonecutter
  • Grindstone
  • Barrel
  • Smoker
  • Brewing Stand

⚖️ Vanilla-Friendly Design

This addon does not modify trade pools or progression.

Villagers still follow normal mechanics, work hours, and locking rules.

It simply removes the repetitive block-breaking step and replaces it with a cleaner, more controlled method.

The sneak requirement ensures:

  • No misclicks
  • No accidental resets
  • Full control in trading halls

✨ Features

  • Sneak + right-click activation
  • Shears-based interaction
  • Instant workstation reset
  • Vanilla sound feedback
  • Multiplayer compatible
  • Lightweight behavior pack

🔴 Simple & short showcase
