Phantasm expands survival with layered progression: new weapons, tools, enemies, bosses, upgradeable skills, structures, and a built-in in-game guidebook for balanced vanilla-friendly gameplay.
Video Trailer:
Overview:
This add-on expands how survival works, adding more progression, more weapons, more tools and utilities, more enemies and more bosses while keeping most of the Vanilla aspects unchanged. This Add-On has a built-in Guidebook inside the world, so the progression is explained in-game to avoid spoiling content. This add-on introduces 2 major progression stages (early-game and post-Ender Dragon), 6 weapons, many items, one passive skill with upgradeable statistics, 1 new structure, and 2 bosses.
Weapons:
There are 5 Legendary Weapons (obtained from boss drops) and 2 Epic Weapons (crafted or found):
(This is the Collection of ALL EPIC WEAPONS!)
- Spectric Bow
This bow is obtained from crafting. It casts a custom projectile when the ammo used is Spectral Arrow, a custom arrow crafted from 1 Arrow and 4 Glowstone Dust.
- Cruxshaper
This mace-like weapon is obtained from crafting. It has a passive that collects damage over time if the weapon is in the inventory (maximum 100). Attacking while collected damage is above 0 triggers extra damage based on collection time. The weapon also has a skill that launches you upwards and plunges to the ground, dealing 35 damage to surrounding entities and causing faster weapon durability loss. 30s cooldown.
- Charged Copper Axe
Obtained by crafting. This axe features two mechanics: Charge and Auric Charges. Charge builds while holding the axe (unequipping doesn't reset it). Hitting an enemy resets Charge and deals extra damage depending on charge; at full charge it summons lightning. Skill: a slash that summons lightning in front of you; faster weapon wear. 5s cooldown. Auric Charge grants 1 Auric Charge when an entity dies; collect up to 256 for the Summoning Ritual of the Last Boss.
- Nature Staff
Craftable staff that shoots a slow but powerful laser projectile (1s cooldown). Alternate attack (crouch-interact) summons 4 spreading waves with massive damage and slower speed (3s cooldown).
LEGENDARY TREE!
- Animitta (Legendary)
Obtained by defeating the Sealed Soul: Soul of Nature boss. This sword has 4 attack patterns and 3 skills themed around the Light of Nature. Deals primarily 12 damage.
- Prism Weaver (Legendary)
Obtained by defeating the Sealed Soul: Soul of Nature boss. This staff has 3 attack patterns and 3 skills themed around the Ocean Tide. Deals primarily 10 ranged damage.
- The Bleeding Spire (Legendary)
Obtained by defeating the Punicea : A Crimson Eye boss. This spear has 4 attack patterns and 3 skills themed around the Crimson. Deals primarily 14 melee damage.
- Supercharged Copper Axe (Legendary)
Obtained by defeating the Auric Automaton: Auric Mechanical Array boss. This axe has 4 attack patterns and 4 skills. Deals primarily 16 damage.
- Auric Photonizer (Legendary)
Obtained by defeating the Auric Automaton: Auric Mechanical Array boss. This sword has 5 attack patterns and 4 skills. Deals primarily 15 damage.
Mobs / Enemies :
- Crimson Tentacle : Crimson Tentacle is a mob that appears in the Crimson Forest. It doesn’t move, but if you get close, it will attack you with high damage. If killed, they drop 20 Experiences and a chance to drop Essence of Crimson.
Bosses and Progression:
- Sealed Soul: Soul Of Nature
Fought at the Diamond Armor progression. This boss has 1000 HP and attack patterns that can be dodged with Dash or Hell Charge. To summon: go to the Prismarine Arena (located at 3000, 3000) and interact with the middle block using 4 Prismarine Shards.
- Punicea : A Crimson Eye
Fought at the Diamond Armor progression. This boss has 2000 HP and attack patterns that primarily uses Laser as an attack. To summon: go to the Crimson Overgrown (located at Crimson Forest) and interact with the middle block using 5 Essence of Crimson.
- Auric Automaton: Auric Mechanical Array
Fought after defeating the Ender Dragon. This boss has 1200 HP and challenging attack patterns. Summoning requires an Ancient Copper Core from the Trial Chamber Vault; place the core and interact with it, then fill each battery with 256 Auric Charges, 1 Nether Star, and 64 Prismarine Shards.
This is an illustration of the Ancient Copper Core summoning ritual.
Other Features and Items:
Skill Unlocking and Upgrading
Players can upgrade skills or statistics to prepare for the next challenge; each skill has different activation methods. Skill unlocking and upgrading costs 30 experience levels per click.
Parrying
Now you can parry enemy attacks using normal swords, from a Wooden Sword up to a Prismatic Sword, by right-clicking / tap-and-hold / interact. Parrying can block almost all damage from enemies. The parry time window is 300ms (to match Minecraft mechanics). Parry Image is shown here :
Treasure Bags
Every boss (except Ender Dragons) drops a Treasure Bag to consolidate loot. Interacting with the bag grants the boss loot to the player who opens it.
And many more features can be explored in-game via the built-in Guidebook.
You don't need to turn on Experiment Toggles to use this Add-On, just Minecraft 26.0 or higher.
