Special Wandering Trader

The special wandering trader is a green variant of the wandering trader carrying emeralds, if he is nearby there will be a message pop up.

The trader will only stay for a while, before despawning.

The special wandering trader will offer you most of the battle pets and sweet berries in exchange of elemental stones and emeralds. The trader will always sell all bank pet variants.

Battle pets

The battle pet variant, these pets from the Eevee family will protect their owners with attacks! After spawning 1 for the first time, you'll need to tame them with only 1 sweet berry, then they will follow you around and will always attack monsters nearby. You can also heal them by feeding them sweet berries.

There are 6 battle pets to choose from.

The first battle pet available, Eevee will normally walk up to enemies to attack them.

Flareon attacks enemies by shooting fireballs at them.

Jolteon

Jolteon mob

In this update, Jolteon now attacks enemies by firing energy balls at them, which explode on contact. Enemies hit are also stunned for a few seconds.

Vaporeon will use its water gun attack against enemies.

Espeon

Espeon mob

Espeon is a new addition to the update. Espeon has a rare chance of spawning in a plains biome during the day. Just like the other pets, it needs to be tamed with only one sweet berry.

Espeon attacks enemies with its psybeam, damaging them and weakening their attacks, but will sometimes attack with psychic, throwing enemies up in the air.

Umbreon

Umbreon mob

Umbreon is another new addition to the update. Umbreon rarely spawns during the night, and also needs to be tamed with one sweet berry.

Umbreon attacks enemies with a dark pulse, which can either blind or wither targets upon hit.

Take note that players can be affected by the attacks, so be careful not to stand in their line of fire!

Bank pets

The bank pet variant, these pets from the Eevee family have a large inventory and will hold your items for you. They don't attack anything, and will also not be targeted by anything. Similar to battle pets, they have to be tamed with sweet berries when spawned for the first time, and can also be healed with sweet berries.

The main difference in appearance is that they have small chest pockets.

Pets variants

Like before, all Eevee family pets can be tamed and healed with sweet berries. Eevee family pets have their own sounds and attacks.

Every pet will avoid enemies that get too close, and will run when hit.

Elemental stones

These are new items added to the update, their only purpose is to be traded with the special wandering trader.

They are dropped by certain mobs, but the special wandering trader will always sell one of three stones when spawned.

Required for trading a Flareon, they have a small chance of dropping from fire mobs, for now they only drop from Blazes and Magma Cubes.

Required for trading a Jolteon, they have a small chance of dropping from energy mobs, for now they only drop from Creepers.

Water Stone

Water Stone

Required for trading a Vaporeon, they have a small chance of dropping from water mobs, for now they only drop from Drowned.
