Philippine Mythology Presents: The Aswang

A singular entity capable of amplifying the difficulty of your typical minecraft survival experience.

ASWANG:

This is the aswang; an infamous Philippine folklore.

This creature typically wanders the forests at nighttime, or when the light level is too low. They mainly eat animals, such as pigs, cows, sheeps, and chickens. Not until they spotted a human being, the player.

If spotted a player, they have a tendency to stand still and observe from a distance, where they will choose between two actions: either to leave you alone, or to take pursuit.

If they choose to chase the player, and the player ducks into a 2-block-high area, they also have the tendency to crawl.

There are also added ambient sound effects and particles, making the experience more immersive.
