Bountiful Bonsais
Go to filesNewest Version: Bountiful Bonsais v2.2 (Rework)
Bonsais are now compatible with soils from Bountiful Crops so try that addon too! (Those soils are so much better)
Bonsais makes your life easier helping you with getting basic resources such as wood, so why you wouldn't use them? There are 25 types of bonsais, including all the trees and crops from Minecraft.
You get a guide book when entering the world for the first time, everything about the addons its explained there. If you somehow lose your guide book, you can craft one with the following recipe:
First, place the bonsai on top of a container, like a chest or a barrel, so you can store all the generated resources.
To plant something on it, you'll need grass, sand, or the block you need to plant whatever you want.
Grass and red sand work like dirt and sand, respectively, but they reduce the growth time by 10s.
Grass:
- Trees (Excluding the nether ones)
- Crops, Sugar Cane, Kelp, Berries & Mushrooms
Sand:
- Cactus
Warped Nylium:
- Warped Tree
Crimson Nylium:
- Crimson Tree
Endstone:
- Chorus Fruit
Soul Sand:
- Nether Wart
By using a hoe in the soil, you can reduce the growth time by another 10s.
Once you have done that, with the sapling or seed in your hand, interact with the bonsai. If you did it right, it should appear to be a mini version of whatever you planted over the bonsai.
After doing that, your bonsai will start to produce resources every 10 seconds.
How to remove the bonsai?
You can either remove just the bonsai or both the soil and the bonsai. To remove just the bonsai, use shears, and to remove both, use your bare hand while sneaking.
Recipe
You don't need a hopper below the bonsai!
