Nico's Mobs is add-on introduces new mobs that spawn naturally in your world. Each mob has unique abilities and distinct loot. Some can be tamed, while others pose a serious threat. All mobs are designed to blend seamlessly with Minecraft's vanilla style. Aside from new mobs, this add-on also adds some new blocks and items.

  • Added the Hummingbird, a passive mob that can produce a Green Feather and lay a Hummingbird Egg when bred.

  • Oak Tree Guardian:
    • It will also be triggered when a player breaks a Pale Oak log or wood.
    • It will no longer drop an emerald.
  • Mushlings:
    • All shrooms are now called Mushling.
  • Firefly now has an animated texture.
  • Flying Books:
    • Flying Books can now be sealed or captured using the Sealing Bookmark.
    • A Flying Book can now copy a Book of Biomes using a Lush Quill.
    • An Enchanted Flying Book can be transformed into a Cursed Enchantment Book when interacted with using a Cursed Eye.
    • Increased the flying speed.

Add-On Notes

  • Add-ons may only be compatible with Minecraft version 1.21.70 or higher.
  • This add-on is NOT using a 'player.json' file.
  • This add-on is mostly compatible with other add-ons.
  • Add-on will work on the realm or server; just make sure you install the correct file and enable the experimental gameplay options correctly.
  • Add-on is not tested yet on the beta and preview versions of Minecraft, so expect some bugs if you are using those versions.
  • Remove the old packs before installing the new version of the packs.
  • If you make a review, gameplay, or showcase about the add-ons, please don't forget to give credit or put the original link (this ModBay page).
  • Do not provide any other download links.

Download Guide

  1. Click the download option below 'Nico's Mobs (v1.9.20) [Behavior]'. It will lead you to the Boostellar site.
  2. On the Boostellar site, find and click 'Click on Ad'.
  3. An ad article will pop up. After 15 seconds, just go back or close the ad page.
  4. On the Boostellar site again, find and click 'Unlock Content'. This will take you to the download site.

INSTALLATION!

  • Toggle OFF the creator setting options, this may prevent some lag in your gameplay and also keep the error logs from popping up.

Disabled Creator Settings

  • Make sure that you download and install both the behavior and resource packs of the add-on.
  • Download both the 'Behavior Pack [BP]' and the 'Resource Pack [RP]'.
  • Use the 'Server Pack' just in case the 'BP' or 'RP' don't work on servers or realms.
  • Import the packs into Minecraft and wait until the packs are successfully imported.
  • This add-on doesn't need any experimental options to toggle on.

    The items are moss_berries, raw_rat, cooked_rat, jack_o_soul_lantern, and pumpkin_slice, everything else 100%. 9/10

There could be a version of the forest guardian, with a Fir trunk, and maybe a birch or dark oak one, that would be great, I think a jungle trunk one too, they could appear in the respective biomes, and the Birch one could appear in normal forests with less probability, and with a normal probability in tall birch forest

      They could have mechanics like in Don't Starve: if the player cut down a lot of trees and didn't plant saplings, an ent from the biome where the player cut down a lot of trees will appear
