🧢 What is Just Cosmetics?
Just cosmetics focuses on bringing 100s (I hope one day 1000s) of cosmetic items to your world, for you to collect and fully customize your character.
Cosmetics have Diamond/Netherite equivalent armor protection and the same enchantment level as netherite. So you do not have to sacrifice your protection for fashion. Durability is based on the cosmetics rarity and slot(see "cosmetic stats" below)
Some cosmetics have additional cosmetic effects to further enhance customization like dyeability.
You can collect cosmetics by killing mobs wearing them or from the cosmetic bags that drops when they die.
There is a 5% chance the following mobs will spawn with hats. Killing them will get you the hat they are wearing. These hats drop with low durability.

- Wither Skeleton
- Piglin Brute

(Below only Render with certain texture packs active, like actions and stuff. However the mob can still drop hats with vanilla textures)
- Enderman
- Villager
- Wandering Trader
Cosmetic bags have a 1% chance to drop from any and all mobs, that includes those from other add ons. They do not require any damage from the player to drop so you can farm them passively with any type of mob farm.
Using (interacting with a surface) the Cosmetic bags drop one of four bags with cosmetics based on Rarity.
(Common, Uncommmon, Rare, and Epic)
Using one these bags will drop you a cosmetic of the corresponding Rarity.
(All hats names are colored to match their rarity)
LEGENDARY BAG
Has a 1% chance to drop from any and all mobs that has 80 Health or more, this also applies to other add on mobs. However it does not drop from the Wither.
You can recycle any duplicate or unwanted cosmetics for scraps. Which you can then use to upgrade to higher tier scrap or more bags of the same rarity. (There is no legendary scrap, Recycling an legendary cosmetic will only get you epic scrap and you can not craft legendary bags)

Some cosmetics have variants, You can obtain the Variant by placing it in any slot in crafting. If you hover over the it, You will find that info Listed.
(Example of changing Variants, from Dwarf miner Hat to Miner Beard. Some have more then one, but you can only obtain them by cycling through)
Some cosmetics have particles, these are disabled by default. To enable them Crouch while putting the cosmetic on. You turn them off the same way. This is for each individual one not the player. The particles will not emit when on an armor stand.
(Here is an example of disable and enable particles, when enabled the cosmetic will display "has custom properties, this will disappear after disabling the particle)
Some cosmetics are dyeable, Like above you can see if they are by hovering over the item. Dyeing them is done with the cauldron (which means you can mix a total of 3 colors) and they are washed off by dipping them in water.

Cosmetics that say they are invisible give an invisible effect, so the player skin does not render. This can take a second to turn off after removing the costume.
As of right now, there are 4 holidays with holiday specific cosmetics.
- Easter
- Summer (July 4th)
- Halloween
- Festive (Christmas)
THESE EVENTS ARE REAL TIME AND WILL START DROPPING AUTOMATICALLY!
- Seasonal bags will start dropping a week before their corresponding holiday. They run through the holiday and a week after.
Example = Easter (13-27)
- The bags drop along side the cosmetic bag and not from it. (i.e.: from mobs)
- The hats themselves are recyclable for seasonal scraps, The Recycling recipe works the same(shears and hat) and 4 scrap per bag, these scraps are NOT upgradable.

- Due to limitations on bedrock and not being able to render attachables that are put in additional slots, the current cosmetics are more then "just" cosmetics. To save on making additional textures to make cosmetics upgradables. And to not take up the off hand slot, cosmetics are given base stats**.
- All cosmetics have diamond/netherite stats and enchantable. However Durability depends on their rarity and where they are slotted.

(**This is subject to change but i will only be changing it if they can be rendered without interferring with armor. Or adding a way to upgrade durability without having to create new items.)
All hats are repairable with the "Special Hat" or through mending.
One special hat fully repairs the cosmetic.
*WARNING*
If you enchant a Cosmetics with a variation, and decide after that you want to change to a different variation, you will lose your enchantments. You've been warned.

HAT DISPLAY ISSUE:
In its current state it works, you can aim at the head to place the hat. However, to remove the hat (if not swapping with another), you must aim where the head would normally be with an empty hand. I do have a model that this was not a thing however, I do not know where I stored it. I will update it as soon as I find it.

- This addon is stable and does not require any experimental toggles.
- This addon does not use Player.json.
- All testing of this addon was done with actions and stuff enabled to ensure there were no issues, so yes, it is compatible with actions and stuff.
- Due to the way skins are, I cannot ensure that hats have the proper placement for everyone. However, I will fix it if they are incredibly out of place.
- If you run into any bugs, whether obvious or you just feel like something isn't functioning as it should. Please report it to me, either here or on Discord, so I can fix it as soon as possible.
- This addon started off as a unofficial port of Simple Hats By FonnyMunkey (modeled/textured by Star Artsy) permission proof below.

QOL UPDATE:
- Added addon "book" (Given to the first player that joins the world on spawn/Along with the admin tag for the config...Everyone else receives the book after equipping their first cosmetic. If you are the host make sure you are the first to join).
- Added configurations for cosmetic and legendary bag drop rate and mobs with hats spawn rate and resetting all stats..
- Added stats kept while player has any cosmetics active (per cosmetic, personal total, global total, leaderboard).

EMISSIVE UPDATE:

THE CLIPPINING IS OVER:
- Readjusted cosmetics to accommodate the second layer on skins. I should not have used default sizing in the first place. My apologies. If you find some clipping still, please let me know here, on MCPEDL, CurseForge, or in the Discord. That was a lot to go through and I may have missed some.
- Removed extra geometry if the hats all shared the same, like baseball hats.
- Removed extra textures if they all shared the same, like the viking.
- Easter Bunny costume and inflatable T-Rex's will be fixed in the next update. Unfortunately, adjusting hat sizes added to the list of hats that show through, but I wanted to get the main fix out as quickly as possible.
- On the plus side, "Easter Bunny" now has more hats that fit properly.
- Farmer's Brim now counts as an Easter hat as was intended; it will no longer drop summer scrap.
- Added Brickhead (stares).
Small Update:
