This is an add-on that adds 8 new furnaces, each with a different speed, all of which are faster than the standard Minecraft furnace.

Come and discover a new experience with this addon! It adds 8 new furnaces to your game, each with its own specific speed, ranging from one that smelts in 9 seconds to one that smelts 4 ores at once. But it doesn’t stop there — this addon also includes 4 upgrades that further improve your furnace. Below, you’ll find explanations for each of them. That’s it, I hope you enjoy Better Furnaces!

• 8 new furnaces, 4 upgrades and an interface with 6 slots: one input slot, one fuel slot, one output slot and 3 upgrade slots.
• Translation available in Portuguese (Brazil), Portuguese (Portugal), Russian, Spanish, French and English.
• Netherite Furnace and Instant Heating Upgrade are immune to fire.
• Netherite Furnace and Obsidian Furnace are immune to explosion.

FURNACES:

• Copper Furnace: 9 seconds
• Iron Furnace: 8 seconds
• Gold Furnace: 7 seconds
• Amethyst Furnace: 5 seconds
• Emerald Furnace: 3 seconds
• Diamond Furnace: 2 seconds
• Obsidian Furnace: 1 second
• Netherite Furnace: 4 items per second

The furnaces display a particle effect when they start smelting something.

UPGRADES:

• Speed Upgrade: Increases furnace speed by 1 for each upgrade placed, up to a maximum of 3.
• Fuel Upgrade: Fuels last twice as long.
• XP Upgrade: When heating something you will receive double experience.
• Instant Heating Upgrade: All items in the input slot will be heated instantly; leave the output slot empty.

The top hopper is where items will be placed into the furnace’s input slot after it becomes empty. The bottom hopper will remove items from the output slot. The hopper on the side or back of the furnace will place fuel into the fuel slot when it is empty.

Final notes: this addon is stable, so there’s no need to enable any kind of experimental features. All recipes appear in the crafting table, and any errors found (even if unlikely) should be reported so they can be fixed quickly.

- ATTENTION: To play version 1.3 perfectly, you will need to install the resource pack (RP) and the behavior pack (BP).
