Salvage Table & 3D Weapons and Tools

The Salvage Table contains weapons and tools that may not fit the style of Minecraft or weapons and tools that don't have wooden-netherite versions

These Weapons and tools typically have unique abilities and are usually 3D

3D Weapons and Tools can also be found in the standard Workbench (Chain Knives, Chokuto's and Slingshots) are all 3D

Changelog! & Updated Descriptions

V17:

  • Added Kri's, A Shortened Version of The Kris This dagger can prove effective in close encounters
  • Added Kris', The kris or keris is a distinctive, asymmetrical dagger from the Indonesian island of Java. Both weapon and a spiritual object, this weapon dishes out more than lethal damage against any player or mob
  • Added Kaso's, An Elongated Double Blade More Than Capable of Dealing Mass Amounts of Damage

V18: (Power & Spear Overhaul Update)

New Additions:

  • Added Backsword's - An upgrade to the Smallsword dealing very high damage for a cheap price, however, lacks any additional ability
  • Added Machetes' - A lightweight blade able to be thrown similarly to a boomerang and receive a speed boost when doing so, while in midair, the machete is able to break glass, grass, and plants
  • Added Dusack's - An upgrade to the Falchion retaining high damage and good bleed damage

Changes and Fixes:

  • Updated All Netherite Crafting Recipes for 1.20
  • Updated Claymore Textures (They were very bad...)
  • The Slowdown Amplifier on Smallswords has been reduced from 1 to 0 and no longer exists for the Gold Smallsword
  • Fixed an Issue where the name of the Workbench would not show correctly
  • Katana's and Wakizashi's no longer share the same cooldown
  • Overhauled the functionality and usage of spears (see "Spears Overhaul" below)
  • Adjustments to endgame/high-cost weapons (see "Endgame Power Balance" below)

Spears Overhaul: Spears since their release have always been unpolished and at times unusable, bouncing off walls, having a strange projectile path along with the spear looking different directions mid-throw, and not to mention the awkwardness of picking them back up after being thrown. These following changes aim to overhaul the spears to make them more functional and friendly to gameplayย

  • Spears will now travel faster and further
  • Spears will now stick in walls
  • Spears now have custom animations when thrown
  • Spears can now be picked up by walking near them rather than interacting with them (they now function similar to a trident)
  • Fixed an issue where spears would not play a sound when colliding with a block
  • Spears Will Now Despawn After 60 seconds if not picked up
  • Removed Durability on Spears (this could be abused to duplicate spears when damaged and thrown, and since spears have full durability when picking them back up after being thrown, durability was useless on them)

Endgame Power Balance: In V17 the Kris was easily the Best Weapon dealing 8-12 Damage with the addition of 4 Bleed Damage the following high-material cost 8-12 Damage weapons have been adjusted to allow for more diversity in endgame weapon choice-ย

  • The Kris now has a 1 second slowness penalty for a successful attack (the gold version will not receive the missed attack slowdown)
  • Zweihander's now deal 9-13 Damage Instead of 8-12 to better match the power of the Kris
  • Kaso's now deal 12-16 Damage Instead Of 8-12 and receive a 2 second temporary slowdown and 1 second weakness effect after a successful attack (the gold version will not receive the missed attack slowdown)
  • Dao's now deal 9-13 Damage and also inflict 3 Bleed Damage Instead of 1 (the gold version will still add 3x duration of bleed therefore dealing 9 bleed damage)

V19:

New Additions:

  • Added Chefs Knifes, a cheaper alternative to the boza. This average-damage weapon deals heavy bleed damage
  • Added Batons, a low attack damage weapons balanced with heavy stun effects upon impact
  • Added Cleavers, utility weapon able to carve organic materials out of any mob upon attacking a target

Changes and Fixes:

  • Upon placing down the first workbench in the world, all players will now see a welcome message. This interaction also disables "gamerule recipesunlock" so all crafting recipes can now be seen. (this interaction will only happen once per world)
  • Zweihanders now deal 10-14 Damage (was 9-13) "This is to bring it more in line with the strengths of the endgame weapons of the Dao and Kris"
  • Claymores now deal 7-11 Damage "This is to make it incrementally make more sense when going down the upgrade path to get to the Zweihander"
Known Bugs & Issues

Key:

  • ๐Ÿ”ด - Issue is currently unfixable
  • ๐ŸŸก - Issue has a complicated fix and has a upcoming fix
  • ๐ŸŸข - Issue is easily fixable and a fix is in the works

"The Minecraft Shield When Equipped With 3D Weapons or tools can appear to look strange and unintended" - Developer Notes. Sadly, this is a universal issue that goes for most addons and mods with 3D Items. Unfortunately, this cannot be fixed ๐Ÿ”ด
