Some monsters are extra rare in the latest updates for balance reasons! I'm still improving on this lol! The spawns sometimes get cancelled by the system rules(spawn filters)! If you really like more monsters, maybe try: "/tag @a add bypass"! Cheers! ; )

The mobs are quite rare for balance reasons! I'm still actively improving it lol! Monsters appearing for milliseconds was a bug in an older version! It shouldn't be visible in the recent version anymore! I'm very busy and didn't got into testing and confirming that though lol! The monster spawns still get cancelled due the rules of the addon! You can bypass this limit with: "/tag @a add bypass" If you like instant spawns for rare monsters! Cheers! ; )

I can still here music and sounds but the mobs just don't appear

The mobs don't appear even when summoned with beta api's and mojang features enabled and maybe more. They appear for a sec and then disappear again.

Good suggestions indeed(most)! Most of those suggestions are being considered or already being worked on(Spawneggs and summons are planned to be added at some point when possible)! Some are even already solved(Like the spawn rate) Some are not relevant(The textureless entities are meant for the dynamic sound effects! Those aren't just random tests lol)! The horror aspects are always considered and being worked on in the long run! Cheers! ; )
