I just released a bug fix update for this, just redownload it, it should say version 1.3.1 once you download it, the problem was that a ton of the files in the textures folder of the resource pack were missing for some reason, so I just added them back in again.

You can chop down tree with bare hands but dont get wood directly and orc warlord does drop some golden nuggets, gold ingots, leather and orc warlord helmet. this helmet will give you strength effect.

For me the AI does solve himself upon getting stuck! The AI has many options being randomly selected by big dice roll odds! Those entities can surprise you even while seem being stuck! Cheers! ; )
