Using MCPacker
Installation:
- Download the MCPacker installation file from the official website.
- Run the installer and follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.
How to use the MCPacker:
- Select Folders:
• Click the “Select Folders” button to open a file dialog.
• Browse and select the folders containing the packs you wish to convert.
• You can select multiple folders at once. - Set Output Directory:
• Click the “Output Directory” button to choose where the converted .mcpack files will be saved.
• Select your preferred location. - Start Conversion:
• Click the “Start Conversion” button to begin the process.
• The progress bar will show the status of the conversion. - Monitoring the Process:
• Real-time status updates will be displayed within the application.
• Any errors encountered will be logged and displayed to the user. - Completion:
• Once the conversion is complete, a notification will be shown.
• You can find the converted .mcpack files in the specified output directory.
Common Issues:
- Missing Files: Ensure that all required files for the packs are present in the selected folders.
- Permission Errors: Check that you have the necessary permissions to read from the source folders and write to the output directory.
- Incomplete Conversions: Review the log files for any errors and consult the documentation or support for assistance.
