The Farlands/The Far Lands Add-on
Go to files The Far Lands were a terrain generation bug in outdated versions of Minecraft. This addon brings the old feature back to your world, if you are interested in it, come in and take a look.
How to get started?
First of all, TURN ON ALL EXPERIMENTAL GAMEPLAY OPTIONS!!!
How to reach The Far Lands?
To reach the Far Lands, you need to build a gateway portal.
(You can only use small red flowers to build it, but the flowers' order is up to you.)
After that, throw the Ender Pearl and Lapis Lazuli item to activate the gateway portal. The recipe is below.
(By right-clicking/long-pressing to use Ender Pearl and Lapis Lazuli, it can teleport you back to the vicinity of the gateway portal, but this will consume one Ender Pearl and Lapis Lazuli.)
After activating it, step on it and you will be teleported to the Far Lands.
What does The Far Lands contain?
It contains Edge Far Lands, Corner Far Lands, and Skygrid. As a chaotic place, it also contains some of the vanilla structures, but most of them are in pieces and incomplete.

As you can see, stronghold still exists in the Far Lands, which means there's still a chance for you to beat the game with the addon. Although it will be far more difficult.
Things you need to know!
- Field Of View is highly recommend to be turned down.
- If you encounter great lag, go to the settings in the addon.
- There are a lot of bugs right now, they will probably be fixed in the future.
