Are you tired of pushing Villagers into boats? Do you wish you could move a Skeleton Spawner closer to your base? MobCatcher+ is the ultimate solution for entity management in Minecraft Bedrock.
This add-on introduces a leveling system for "Catchers," a custom XP shop for unlocking abilities, and a fully scripted system to capture mobs and spawners using the latest Script API.
✨ Key Features
1. The Catcher Tool (Levels 1 to 5)
The core of the add-on is the Catcher. It comes in 5 distinct tiers. As you upgrade your catcher, you unlock the ability to capture stronger mobs and hold more entities at once.
Level 1 vs Level 5 Comparison:
🔹 Health Thresholds: A Level 1 Catcher can only hold weak mobs (under 50 HP), while a Level 5 Catcher can handle beasts up to 250 HP!
🔹 Data Preservation: When you capture a mob, everything is saved drastically including their name tag, current health, variant (e.g., villager profession), and inventory.
🔹 Durability System: Capturing mobs damages the tool. If the mob has more HP than the tool has durability, the capture will fail!
2. The Ability Shop 🛒
Sneak (Crouch) while holding a Catcher to open the Ability Shop. Here, you can spend your XP Levels to permanently upgrade your tool with powerful enchantments.
👻 Spawner Hunter (Cost: 15 Lvl) The ultimate endgame feature. Unlocks the ability to pick up Mob Spawners directly from the world.
🧛 Vampiric Mending (Cost: 10 Lvl) Repairs your catcher by draining life force from the mobs you capture (+10 Durability per capture).
🎒 Deep Pockets (Cost: 5 Lvl) Uses spatial magic to increase your capture capacity by +2 slots.
🧬 Bio Scanner (Cost: 8 Lvl) Hit a mob to scan its stats (Health & Type) without dealing damage.
🧪 Essence Extraction (Cost: 20 Lvl) Instead of releasing a mob, you can choose to "Sacrifice" it to extract XP levels.
3. Spawner Relocation
Once you buy the Spawner Hunter upgrade, simply interact with any Mob Spawner. The add-on detects the entity type inside (Zombie, Blaze, Skeleton, etc.) and saves it. You can then place that specific spawner anywhere you want!
🔨 Crafting Recipes
- Start your journey by crafting the essential components.
1. Nano String
Before you can craft anything, you need this high-tech material. ✂️ How to get: Use Shears on any White Wool or White Carpet. It will break the fibers down into Nano String instead of dropping the block.
2. Catcher Mesh
The containment net required to hold living entities. Materials: 4 Slime Balls, 5 Nano Strings.
3. Mob Catcher (Level 1)
Your starting tool. Holds up to 2 entities initially. Materials: 2 Sticks, 2 Leather, 1 Catcher Mesh.
4. Upgrade Core
Used in the "Upgrade Ritual" to level up your catcher from Tier 1 to 5. Materials: 5 Deepslate, 3 String, 1 Cobweb.
🛠️ How to Use
Capturing Mobs
Simply hit a mob with the Catcher. If it has low enough health and your tool is strong enough, it will be instant caught!
The Upgrade Ritual
We use a custom "In World" crafting system to upgrade your tools. No crafting table required!

Drop your Catcher item on the ground.

Drop a Catcher Upgrade Core next to it.

Wait a few seconds for the items to detect each other.

BOOM! Lightning particles will strike, and your tool will evolve to the next level (e.g., Level 1 to Level 2), keeping your abilities intact!
Entity Management
Interact (Right Click / Long Tap) with the Catcher to view your storage. You can see the health, dimension origin (Nether/Overworld/End), and name of every entity stored.
🚫 Limitations & Notes
🛑 Bosses: You cannot capture the Ender Dragon, Wither, Warden, or Armor Stands.
🛑 Capacity: Each level has a base limit (Level 1 holds 2 mobs, Level 5 holds 10).
🛑 Experimentals: This add-on requires Beta APIs to be enabled in your world settings to function correctly.
