Simple Roguelike Dungeon (v1.2.0)

This add-on will bring to your Minecraft world a new type of dungeon. A procedurally generated dungeon with multiple floors, filled with a lot of monsters and loot.

These dungeons consist of multiple rooms and corridors and can be quite complex, making it easy to get lost. There are five tiers, and the further down you go, the more difficult the challenges will be. Make sure to bring some decent gear, as it can get very intense down there. Moreover, the loot will be better as you descend to lower tiers. These dungeons are quite rare, so it is worth taking the time to explore if you want to find them.

- The Entrance -

You can find these structures in your world that are generated in the overworld across most biomes, except for oceans, rivers, mushroom islands, and mountains. Inside the entrance, you will find a staircase that leads to the dungeon in the underground.

- Tier 1 -

Welcome to Tier 1, which has two categories of rooms: Monster Rooms and Feature Rooms. Monster Rooms contain spawners and loot, as the name suggests. Feature rooms, on the other hand, don't have spawners, it can be a laboratory room, or it can be a room with a cake,... Overall, this tier is not too difficult and can be cleared with just iron armor.

- Tier 2 -

This tier is pretty much the same as Tier 1. It uses the same pool of room that Tier 1 uses.

- Tier 3 -

This is where it starts getting more intense. Feature rooms no longer generate on this tier, and the number of spawners increases. But the loot is worth the risk.

- Tier 4 -

Husks, strays, and cave spiders start spawning at this tier. And it can be very hard, you should better bring better armor and weapons.

- Tier 5 -

This tier is quite similar to Tier 4. And you can find very good loot at this tier. If you are lucky then you may stumble upon a reward room with a lot of loot.

Even though this add-on does not introduce any new mobs to the game, it can still provide you with challenges. Mobs spawned from this dungeon will have random equipment. And the lower you go, the harder you will get.

- Limitations -

This dungeon can currently only generate within 5x5 chunks at this moment, this is a pretty big problem. This limitation not only restricts the size of the dungeon but also limits the content and creativity that I can put into it. This add-on still has room for improvement so I will try to add more in future updates. It took me a lot of time to make this add-on. I hope you enjoy it.
