Introducing the Creaking from Minecraft Live 2024! This eerie mob hunts players when they stop looking at it. Alongside the Creaking, the addon features an array of pale blocks, including logs, planks, stairs, slabs, fences, fence gates, doors, vines, and pale moss, adding new variety to your builds.

Features

Creaking (mob)

The Creaking is a tense, watch-based hostile mob inspired by Minecraft Live 2024. It introduces a stare mechanic that forces players to manage line of sight carefully.

• Passive while being observed — it will not move or attack if you keep eye contact.
• Becomes hostile when players look away, creating high-tension encounters.
• Spawns alongside trees generated from the addon sapling (see Saplings & Trees).

Saplings & Trees

Due to game limitations, trees cannot be generated naturally. However, you can obtain saplings with a 10% chance by breaking short grass blocks. The tree can only grow with the help of bone meal, and upon generation, a Creaking will spawn alongside it.

Pale Blocks

This addon includes a full set of pale-themed building blocks to expand your palette for eerie or muted builds.

Note: Pressure plates and buttons are not included in this update.

WARNING

This addon does not implement all mechanics showcased during Minecraft Live 2024. Due to game limitations, pressure plates and buttons do not emit redstone signals. Some features may differ from the official announcement. Additionally, starting from Minecraft version 1.18, the game no longer supports custom biome creation. Please be aware of these limitations when using this addon.

Be careful when generating trees with the sapling, as the generation of this tree may break your constructions.
