Strange New World

"Enter a strange new world of fantasy, clashing with the arrival of visitors from outer space!"
Strange New World is an expansive add-on that changes the base game extensively to mold the world of TERRA, by changing minor details to the game, crowding the Overworld and End dimensions with new flora and fauna, and adding new technology-inspired gadgets and a simplistic magic system.

OVERVIEW: THE WORLD OF TERRA
It was a time of adventure. In a land of dangers.
Once a paradise, the planet Terra is a new world at loss, with vast quantities of resources and home to myths and magic. Terra is inhabited by multiple lifeforms (some being humanoid species), as well as varied fauna and flora. Upon the beauty of a new age came the Outsiders, a group of anthropomorphic beings covered in metal armor with advanced contraptions and knowledge. Not much is known about their mission, but the destruction of the land was spread faster than the word of their arrival.
Though strange time lies ahead for the land and the people, in the end, all finds a path back to a different beginning. Like everyone, one must live and learn. And so it will be for the people arriving at the gates of this strange new world, waking up from a dream, only to dream again, only to find their calling. Maybe you'll be one that will, in time, father a legend.

CONTENTS
See more information on our wiki here.
:: Beepers, Sentries & Starfloats
・ Hostile, mechanical replicas of certain fauna that have been observed by the Outsiders.
Beepers are the distant metal cousins to Creepers, having a higher movement and combustion speed, albeit the damage from their explosions is weaker. Sentries are movable metal turrets that shoot multiple projectiles consecutively, and Starfloats are small drones programmed to swarm down into fauna. When the latter are torn down, they drop an energy core perfect for getting your hands into some technological advancements.
:: Cobblestone Golems
・ Distant relatives to their iron-borne cousins. These boulder buddies are naturally passive unless provoked, and the smaller pebbles can be tamed and will remain as a small companion. Like with iron golems, there is confusion as to how they live and their inner workings, but it is known that they're fond of rotten flesh.
:: Elves, Warlocks & Sages
・ Natives to the world of Terra. Elves will defend themselves if provoked, and Sages keep their secrets to forgotten knowledge, but both will share some of their resources in exchange of precious minerals. Warlocks, being prosecuted magic practitioners like Witches, now seek to harm others while leading secluded lives.
:: Eyecletches
・ Having a close resemblance to the sensory organs, Eyecletches are (what can only be assumed they are) eerie flesh arthropods that feed off of the eyesight of other fauna, leaving them temporarily blind until they consume all of its victim. Like its name suggests, upon finding its victim, the walking pupil will try to jump into its face to inflict damage, so it's recommended to keep distance from these creatures.
:: Honey Slimes & Spiked Slimes
・ Distant relatives and subspecies of Slimes. Honey Slimes are passive, and has been thought about being an alternative source of obtaining honey without interfering on bee nests. Spiked Slimes, seemingly made out of hardened gel, also have layers of fragmented sedimentary stone that act like sharp quills, which they use to hurt their prey.
:: Outsiders & Tank Outsiders
・ Outsiders are lifeforms external to the world of Terra. Their biological aspect is seemingly humanoid and their precedence is unknown. They're only known for their hostility and their external appearance, that of an armor made of an unidentified metal compound. Outsiders can be deceived by wearing a replica of their armor. Tank Outsiders, being twice as big, strong and smart, cannot be deceived with an armor replica.
:: Synapsids
・ Species of proto-mammal reptiles that were thought to be extinct, from which it is believed that some mammals originate. Suminia Synapsids, being smaller and having an orange color, is thought to be a tree-dwelling species also found in deserts.
:: Wildderglides
・ A type of insect severely exposed to insular gigantism. Having no major survival instincts, Wildderglides can be saddled and ridden almost instantly, but it is not recommended to do so, as they are pretty weak and can fall down easily.
*There are many other known creatures not shown here, and more to be documented!
