What Is the Fantasy Ores Addon?

The Fantasy Ores Addon is a custom mod for Minecraft  Bedrock Edition (MCPE 1.21 and above) that adds multiple new ores scattered throughout the Overworld, Nether, and even the End.
Each ore type is designed with a fantasy-themed touch — glowing effects, particle animations, and vivid colors — transforming every mining expedition into a magical experience.

But this isn’t just a visual upgrade. Each ore introduces new crafting materials, custom weapons, armor, and tools that carry unique powers. You’ll find yourself chasing after rare crystals and enchanted metals just to see what kind of wild gear you can forge next.

New Ores to Discover

While every version of the addon can vary slightly, most releases of Fantasy Ores (1.21+) include some of the following mystical materials:

• Mythril Ore – A shimmering blue-green mineral known for its lightness and strength. Mythril tools are faster and more durable than diamond.
• Adamantite Ore – Deep red and extremely tough, this metal crafts some of the strongest armor available in Bedrock mods.
• Soul Crystal Ore – Found near lava lakes and the Nether, it holds trapped spirits that can be used for magical weapon enchantments.
• Aetherium Ore – A glowing purple gem that gives off light and can be used in crafting levitation-related items.
• Shadow Ore – A mysterious dark stone that can be forged into stealth-based armor, perfect for night raids or PvP maps.

Each ore has its own depth level, biome spawn rules, and drop mechanics. For example, Aetherium may appear in mountain biomes, while Shadow Ore hides deep in caves near bedrock. The addon’s variety makes mining feel fresh again — no two adventures underground ever feel the same.
