Better Torches is a lightweight and vanilla-friendly addon that adds dynamic lighting to all four torch types in Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Better Torches adds dynamic lighting and convenient torch handling so you can explore without constantly placing torches.

Features

All vanilla torches now emit light while held, including:

• Normal Torch
• Soul Torch
• Redstone Torch
• Copper Torch

Usage

In addition, when you use a torch, it is automatically placed into your offhand, allowing you to carry light without interrupting gameplay.

Compatibility

This addon is:

• Fully stable
• Compatible with any other addon
• Does NOT modify player.json
• Does NOT require experimental features
• Does NOT disable achievements

Better Torches is perfect for mining, exploring caves, walking through tight 1-block-high corridors, or lighting dark areas when you are low on torches and do not want to stop and place them constantly.
