Ever wanted to make your Minecraft fears become real? This addon adds some popular well known Monsters to your Minecraft world inspired by Java, but with an interesting twist exclusive to Bedrock!

I have been slowly started reworking Fearcraft lately! It's a work in progress still!

BUT: You can already find an experimental version of the Fearcraft rework version on Modbay!

⚠️ Warning: This version might be buggy and change a lot each update! It's not guaranteed to work!
For people who like to be lab rats or scientists like me, come help me improve this new version of Fearcraft and report any bugs or share any tips for future improvements!👨🏼‍🔬

It's still the main/best version of Fearcraft lol! ; )

  • The One Who Watches Reborn with a twist
  • The Cave Dweller Reimagined with unique AI
  • The Knocker with unique AI
  • The Shadow Figure
  • The new Goatman with unique AI
  • The King Dweller with unique AI
  • The Cartoon Cat Dweller with unique AI
  • Herobrine basic version(Can be expanded by overriding with Haunted by Herobrine Remake V3)
  • Null basic version

The entities spawn after a few days! You can hear them early tho!

Please don't ask about spawneggs, they come later lol!😝

This version differs a lot from the older one!☝️

Important: "Fearcraft the Experiment" is the new main version of the addon! You don't need the extra jumpscare pack anymore! Also Fearcraft the Experiment is best played individually, even though it's compatible with others, for the best experience! This is a Modpack containing most of my newer addons/mods! Using utility addons like dynamic light or vain miner etc is fine! I strongly recommend leaving other dweller addons out! For the intended experience!

Warning: The Legacy Fearcraft version is older and only works below Minecraft version 1.21.80! Fearcraft the Experiment however, works in the most recent Minecraft versions! Even preview lately lol!

Let's first say sorry for not updating this page info in a very long time! It caused quite some confusion, unfortunately! I have a really hard time keeping track of the information, and sometimes I forget who's involved with it!

The Fearcraft Addon is strongly inspired by Java and uses some creations from developers from the Java platform! Because of the way I handle stress, I completely forgot about giving them credit for their hard and original work! I'm still not very familiar with all Java developers involved! I haven't played Java that much yet, lol! I respect the original creators of the entities and I don't have any bad intentions at all! I just liked to make something nice and familiar for Bedrock! Bedrock doesn't really have a big addon community yet! I only code the entities Bedrock AI! Some of my friends made Bedrock versions of the entities! Our Bedrock versions work different from Java! But we should at least have asked for permission! I'm sorry for that!

I'm really thankful to "everyone" who's involved with both the original Java mods and bedrock version of those mods! I will give credit to those I'm familiar with being involved in this!

If something isn't correct, feel free to ask me about it! I do my best to make this as fair as possible!

I prefer things to be positive and legit!

The Fearcraft Addon for Bedrock in short

Fearcraft is an addon adding some interesting horrors to Minecraft Bedrock! Most of those horrors are inspired by popular Java mods! Fearcraft aims for an interesting and quite familiar horror experience on the Bedrock platform of Minecraft!

This addon is in public beta and will update very quickly fixing bugs and adding interesting new stuff! Fearcraft is a community driven project and most of the stuff happening is based on user requests and fun experiments! Making Minecraft addons is our hobby not our work lol! We prefer to have fun with our project and don't cause any trouble! We just like to make people scared of Minecraft lol! Just for fun!

I recommend playing this addon blindly and let it take you by surprise for the best experience possible! There are some examples and tutorials on this page for if you're scared of the unknown!

Please keep in mind this addon updates "almost" daily! Fixing bugs, doing improvements and adding interesting surprises!

Install and Update Tips

Please disable the addon from any worlds prior! Make sure to delete all older versions of the addon first! Then redownload and reinstall the addon after! Don't leave any older versions behind! Check both your Minecraft storage cache and older worlds resources and behaviors for older versions to delete, before attempting a new installation! Also, always toggle all experiments on in your world for the addon to function correctly! Happy playing! Cheers! ; )

  • Added two new Dwellers with unique AI being experimented on!
  • Some Dwellers are more desperate: they will persist in chasing when they feel like catching you (changes to scenarios where they gave up way too early).
  • Added the Goatman to the turn cycle correctly (previously accidentally excluded).

  • The cave dweller can learn to go to the surface later, when the player progresses.
  • Some entities/dwellers can learn to follow you into the Nether.
  • Random stalkers / jumpscares might occur when you least expect it.

  • Big convenience update:
    • Massively improved the cycle system where Dwellers/entities take turns!
    • All surface dwellers now correctly take turns!
    • The Goatman got locked into the cycle too now!
  • Some exclusions:
    • The Cave Dweller is excluded in the cycle! He is independent!
    • Some entities/dwellers can affect the game in the background without being at turn dynamicly!
    • Some surface creatures at turn can sometimes randomly appear in caves too based on their behavior algorithms!
  • Things to know:
    • You start with a 1 day grace period (The cave dweller might spawn slightly earlier when in super deep caves early)!
    • You might hear sounds etc early (ambience)!
    • The Dwellers/Entities can still have their own progression/phases/states besides taking turns!
    • Fearcraft the Experiment is made with Vibrant Visuals in mind and might look different (slightly off) without!
  • For the future:
    • New Dwellers/Entities might join the Experiment unexpectedly at random times!
    • I'm still cooking!
    • Besides being very busy, the Experiment still evolves!
    • It's super fun!

  2. Hello, how do you fix the problem when you are going into a server with this add-on but it keeps on 0.88 MB or 1.5 MB while downloading? I installed this mod in an aternos server and somehow it works clearly but the main problem is that the add-on download took a long time and i still bypass it, but not my friend. He keep staying on 0.88. His phone was actually good though, but this add-on makes his phone heated + good conmection. Please, can anyone help?
  3. hello, I downloaded the two links of fearcraft, but when I do all the steps I do not load the textures of the entities, I see them black and purple and I really did not make a mistake in anything and I put all the add-ons that I downloaded, is it a problem of my pc or should I install something else?

      You have to activate all the experiments and I think the cheats also except the one for maintaining the inventory

    Hi Dolphin, I hope you read this, I love this addon for Minecraft PE and it looks amazing, I have a question, how I can remove the sound effects from the other dwellers, for example I activate only The One Who Watches dweller but the sound effects are all mixed up from the others dwellers and I only want the sound effects that TOWW have, how I can activate those sounds effects? Take your time answering no pressure at all :)

      Do you have Fearcraft activated with TOWW? Because then you would hear sounds plus the ine who watches only makes sounds when he chases you.

        Yup, I only activated TOWW, how? Well it is actually very easy with cheat codes, in the info of the add on also says how, you have to allow cheat codes btw and then just type “/tag @a add bypass” and then “/tag @a add egg” and with a nether star and just go to the NPC menu and then in the menu, click “disable all” and all entities will disappear, then jus click “Enable” and it will open another menu with all the entities or dwellers, and just chose one :) number 7 in TOWW then close the menu, and in your chat put again “/tag @a remove egg” then “/tag @a remove bypass” and your game it’s all normal again with one dweller activated I hope it helps you :)

    Could you please update the addons to the newer version of Minecraft(1.20.80), it seems Fearcraft & TOWW causes alot of issues on the newer version of Minecraft!
    Firstly, I cannot equip wolf armor to my wolves and newer variants of wolves dont spawn(Only the old wolf spawns in the world), I've done some testing and it really turns out its the addons fault. And also, all dwellers are now very³ common to spawn unlike the older version of Minecraft(1.20.73).
    I really love to play your addons but at the same time i also want to fully experience new things from the newer update.
    Could you please fix this issues...? ;(
    1. To solve the wolves, in a file explorer go to the world in "behaviors", search for Fearcraft, enter the 🗂 "entities" folder and delete the file that says "Wolf". (About the Dewellers and their high level of appearance, I don't know how to solve that, I haven't updated to that version)

        And about the high level appearance of the dwellers... i probably just gonna wait for a bug fixing update.
        One question, why does "Wolf.json" file exist in the first place?
        1. Every time the creator made some change in the wolf associated with a mechanic, but I used the file of the old Minecraft wolf, not the one from the new version, (according to spawning I think it is a bug, although if you want to try you can Go to "behaviors" then "spawnrule" and open the file of each entity that appears too much and perhaps there is the "default" option and well the minimum is 1, it would be "defaul:1", to open these files and edit them and then make the changes, if you will use the explorer, but to open them I recommend "QuickEdit"

  8. Hey master dolphin the monsters seems not appearing and they are on top of the list and they spawn ALOT i can't even mine wood it happens when i spawn a monster spawn egg so it fixes the monsters not appearing but after i do that ALL the monsters spawn and i can't even play

      1. I know! hold a nether star and right click it while holding the star, then a cheats menu should show up, and u can disable and enable monsters. if u want just 1, go on the cheats menu of the nether star, click DISABLE ALL, then ENABLE what u want.

It would be great if you added something like a java mod of the screaming stev with a big mouth and that also has a screaming sheep with a big mouth, it camouflages itself as a normal animal, there is also a mod that adds the fake wandering salesman that the interactive with him gets some tentacles of blood from the mouth and attacks you, I think it's doppelganger mod.   12. hey just a suggestion, could you also add herobrine in this addon? i love your other addon called haunted by herobrine but I don't know if its compatible with this

      The Haunted by Herobrine Addon should be compatible with Fearcraft! Although you need a strong device and important: Put Fearcraft on top of the list of used addons! There's a issue you need to prevent due to the Creator dweller, matching names with the Creator entity in the Herobrine addon lol! Please be aware of that! Cheers! ; )

  15. Hello, the mod caught my attention and I wanted to download it on my cell phone, but when using it, only the sounds work, the monsters do not appear even if I want to make them appear. I would like you to help me with my problem, please. I have version 1.20.73

      When activating both behaviors and resources, the monsters should spawn naturally eventually! Although in the latest update I added some buildup to make it feel more scary! They spawn eventually, but later! Cheers! ; )
