How to open my txt file?

Step 1

ALT text File list with guide file circled in red

Step 2

ALT text File menu with Open option circled.

Open view

Download it on playstore name zachriver

Step 3

File download folder with Open with menu.

Follow these exact actions to import and use the downloaded .txt dweller file:

  1. Download the .txt file to your device (link below).
  2. Move the .txt file into MAM/Mod Wizard import folder: use a folder named MAM/import or ModWizard/import on your device storage. If you don’t have an import folder, create one in the MAM or Mod Wizard app directory.
  3. Open MAM (or Mod Wizard) and go to the Import/Load tool: Menu → Tools → Import or Menu → Open → Import file.
  4. Select the .txt file you placed in the import folder. The app will parse the file and show a preview. If there is a file-type selector choose "Dweller" or "Entity" if prompted.
  5. Review the preview and fix any errors the parser reports (missing textures or fields). Common fixes: correct file paths, set a valid model name, or supply missing texture files in the same import folder.
  6. When the preview looks correct, click Import / Convert / Save (depending on your app). This will create the addon package or place the entity in MAM’s project list.
  7. Enable or export the addon: either enable it inside MAM/Mod Wizard for testing, or export it as a package (.pak or the app’s format) and move it to the game’s mods folder.
  8. Launch the game, verify the dweller appears and behaves correctly. If not, return to MAM, open the imported item, adjust properties (textures, spawn parameters), re-export, and test again.

Troubleshooting tips:

  • If the import fails, open the .txt in a text editor to ensure it’s not corrupted and that required fields (name, model, texture paths) are present.
  • Keep textures and model files in the same import folder to avoid path issues.
  • Use the app logs or console output to identify and fix parsing errors.

Now you'll see the list of recommended MAM and Mod Wizard tools for dwellers inside the app after a successful import.
