After installing this addon and applies to your world, you will receive a random effect every time you hit a mob. The random effect can be anything out of the 21 different effects in Minecraft. The effects last 10 seconds so whenever one effect is over and can stack on each others. Since the effect is completely random, it can kill you out of nowhere but the opposite can also happen. Helpful effects such as Fire Resistance, Regeneration can be a lifesaver in many situations.
