With this addon installed, villagers can now communicate when interacted with by players (open a trade table or interact with a nitwit!). This adds more life and realism to your adventures.
Over 2500+ messages for villagers to randomly choose from. Now with Spanish & Indonesian versions, too!

Revolutionize your Minecraft Bedrock experience — intelligent Chatty Villagers that will speak to you when interacted with or traded with!
- The Behaviour Pack is the main pack!
- The Resource Pack is optional!
All villagers will now express themselves when you trade with them, sending a message in chat. Nitwit types (green) will display a message when interacted with whether they are traders or not.

The Behaviour Pack
There are over 2500+ messages.
Messages can include:
Advice or information about different vanilla mobs, Minecraft lore, secret & special messages, jokes, and more.

The Resource Pack
RP is NOT necessary — only for sounds!
The Resource Pack:
This will change in-game villager sounds ("Hmm..") into voiced lines such as "Hi Bro" and other sayings. A voice actor is desired to match recordings to chat messages.
Villagers will share lore, Minecraft facts & tell stories about daily struggles, jokes, holiday sayings, and more. Make your village life feel truly alive.

Behavior Pack
(THIS IS THE MAIN PART YOU WANT TO DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL!)
Contains the script for chat interactions/sayings.
Install this if you want chat messages from villagers (contains many messages).
Resource Pack
(Optional)
Contains talking villager voice sounds.
Install this if you want villagers to make voiced lines instead of the default "hmm" sounds.
(Limited by Bedrock villager base code — voice integration depends on resources/voice actors.)

Disclaimer:
- This pack originally made villagers speak in chat with random messages but became spammy; it was adjusted to trigger on interactions/trading.
- Voices were later added via a resource pack, with plans to connect voice lines to chat messages when a voice actor is available.
- Nitwit code integration and pack unification occurred during development; the resource pack complements the behaviour pack.
