Rustic 1.21.23 Update:
Changes:
- Added an interface to the Almanac, you can search for information about every feature in the addon (includes images).
- Now when you break a beehive, the bee will get angry.
- If a sapling seed is placed on farmland, the model will adjust the height of the block.
- You can now collect berries from the wildberry bush directly in your inventory.
- Chili peppers now have a 33% chance of damage applied when consumed.
- You can now place the wildberry bush in a flower pot.
- Fixed some render issues of the flower pot with the herbs.
- Added the ability to climb the ropes.
- Now the Milk Bottle will remove 1 random effect instead of all effects.

- Hitting a block with a tomato will leave a stain.
- Changed the texture of: Grapes, Poisonous Grapes.

- Now you can open the doors of the addon with a lever, pressure plates and buttons.
- Now you can obtain grape seeds, tomato seeds and chili pepper seeds by breaking short grass and tall grass. (The probability of obtaining each seed is 5-7%, although you can find some bushes of each crop in their respective biome.)
- Added ability to crush sugar cane in the crushing tub produces water and 2 of sugar.
- Now you can obtain 3 Iron Dusts with 1 bottle of ironberry juice in the drying basin.
- Added functionality to the apiary, now you can store bees and farm honeycomb.
- Now the leaves of the trees that generate in the world will fall if the log is broken.
- A lot of bug fixes and improvements.
- Mortar and pestle, olive seed flour, wheat flour removed. (I think it is better to keep the fidelity of the features of the original mod, maybe in the future they will come back in an additional addon that depends on this addon.)
About Mobile Crashes:
- In this new update, I was able to test the addon on mobile devices. It worked perfectly without any crashes. I recommend using the Classic UI style to avoid errors with the interfaces. If you find any bugs, just let me know.
Almanac
With the almanac, you can find all the information you need about the features, blocks and items included in this addon.
The book is divided in 3 sections: Agriculture, Decoration and Production. Use the side strips of the book to alternate between sections.
If you want to know about something specific, look for it in the sections and click on what you want to consult.
If you are with keyboard and mouse, the button you are standing on will be shaded. If you are on a mobile device just tap.
Another page with 3 new sections will be displayed. Description and Additional: Will have information about the item, block or feature. (Additional tab will sometimes have no information).
If you want to go back to the main page, at the bottom of the page there is a small arrow that will show more clearly inside the game. (If the arrow is not visible I recommend you to scale down the interface in options). Or you can close the book and reopen it.
Some sections of the book will indicate that they are under development or not yet ready.
Recipe:
Olives are obtained from the leaves of the olive tree that grows in the world.
Translations
The book is automatically translated into the following languages:
- English (US)
- Español (ES)
- Español (MX)
If you want to collaborate with the translation of the book in more languages, you can go to my Discord.
IMPORTANT
In the future, this page will not have a detailed explanation of every feature of the addon. It may be that the current information is not the most up-to-date. Therefore, it is important to use the in-game almanac. Also, the information on this page will be replaced with a wiki on GitHub, which is in process.

Thanks to Minato for sharing the server form template on the official Bedrock Add-ons discord server.

Wooden Stake
This block is essential to be able to cultivate the following crops: Chili Pepper, Tomato and Grapes.
Has all wood variants (except nether wood).
Recipe:
Fertile Farmland
This block is essential to be able to cultivate the following crops: Chili Pepper, Tomato and Grapes.
You can also plant vanilla crops and sugar cane.
If you jump on this block, it won't be ruined like vanilla farmland, and you don't need water.
To obtain it, you need to craft the compost.
Compost
Recipe:
You can replace the slot of the sapling with the following items:
You need to put the compost near water to obtain the fertile soil.
With the fertile soil, interact with a hoe on top to obtain fertile farmland.
You can see the video below:
Rope Knot
This block is essential to be able to grow the grapes, it can also serve as a bridge.
Recipe:
Chili Pepper
You can get their seeds with the Chili Pepper Bush that generates in Deserts. You have a 25% chance to obtain it.
Remember you need the Wooden Stake to plant the chili and below the vanilla farmland or Fertile Soil.
Can grow up to 2 blocks tall.
You can speed up the growth process with Bone Meal.
You can obtain poisonous chili (you can use them to craft seeds).
When you consume a Chili Pepper, it will do damage (half heart) and will give you speed for 20 seconds.
Additional:
If you eat too many chilis, it will give you more damage than you think.
Tomato
You can get their seeds with the Tomato Stem that generates in savannas. You have a 25% chance to obtain it.
Remember you need the Wooden Stake to plant the chili and below the vanilla farmland or Fertile Soil.
You can obtain poisonous tomato (you can use them to craft seeds).
Can grow up to 3 blocks tall.
You can speed up the growth process with Bone Meal.
Tomato is a fairly normal food, but you can throw it to the mobs, players or consume it.
Grapes
You can get their seeds with the Grape Bush that generates in forests. You have a 25% chance to obtain it.
To properly grow grapes you must make this structure:
(To put the rope on the wooden stake, right click with the rope in hand).
Now plant the seeds in the middle.
And if you did everything right they will grow like this, you can speed up the process by increasing the tick speed.
You can speed up the growth process with Bone Meal.
Olives
These olives can be found by destroying the leaves of the new Olive tree.
This is not good food, when consumed, it will give you the following effects:
- Nausea II (15 seconds)
Now you can make oily food with olive oil:
It is crafted with food and a bottle of olive oil.
What is it for?
It will raise 2 nutrition points for each food.
And it will raise a level of saturation for each one.
For now there are only these meals. I would like to know your opinion and if you think it should be applied to all meals.

Beehive
I know that Minecraft already has a beehive, but this design is better.
This beehive does not work like the vanilla one, you will find it in trees around the world and if you break them, you will get bees (items), honeycomb and the possibility of a vanilla bee coming out.
Cabinet
This new block is an alternative to the vanilla chest. You can put in all directions. It can only be opened from the front and you can put another one on top to form a double cabinet! The regular cabinet has the same space as a chest and the double cabinet has the same space as a double chest.
(You can't put a cabinet on top of a double cabinet, just place a block in the middle)

Tiny Pile of Iron Dust
This dust is more valuable than it seems, heating it in the furnace will give you iron nuggets.
Crushing Tub
Recipe: (All wood variants)
With this block, you can put some crops and jump on them to make juice.
A bit of rustic agriculture, right?
When you crush any of these, a liquid will be formed that you can take out in a bottle or in a bucket (depending on how much liquid there is).
This video explains how it works:
Brewing Barrel
Brewing is the process of fermenting fluids to get alcohol, and it is done with a brewing barrel. The brewing process involves up to three fluids: the input, the output, and optionally the starter culture fluid. A brewing barrel's interface has three tanks for holding these fluids, as well as a slot above and below each tank.
