📖 Overview

This addon lets you hatch previously useless dragon eggs. Once fostered and tamed, dragons become faithful companions and are ridable when grown.

Dragon Mounts allows you to hatch eight different dragons and ride them when fully grown. Players need a Dragon Egg to start, and later use Raw Fish to tame and a Saddle to ride. Dragon Eggs can be obtained after defeating the Ender Dragon.

📌 Quick Guide

Place the Dragon Egg block and interact with it to start hatching; the process takes time.
Tame a grown dragon with Raw Fish—tamed dragons will follow and protect you.
Interact with a tamed dragon to make it sit or stand.
To ride a tamed dragon, give it a saddle and then interact while not holding an action item.
Heal dragons by feeding them: raw fish, chicken, beef, or porkchop (+4 hearts); rotten flesh (+2 hearts).
Control dragons while riding using the arrow keys.

🐉 Dragons

The recognizable cast from the original Dragon Mounts mod.

Aether Dragon — From the Aether; wind breath that knocks foes into the sky.
Ender Dragon — Ruler of The End; acid breath that deals damage over time.
Fire Dragon — Blazing lizard; shoots fiery breath.
Forest Dragon — Nature-themed; leaf breath that helps crops grow.
Ghost Dragon — Undead; lacks breath attack but can bite.
Ice Dragon — Ice breath slows mobs and can create snow.
Nether Dragon — From the Nether; lava breath hotter than normal fire.
Water Dragon — Sea lizard; water breath that can poison mobs.
