THE MINER — THE MINER OF DARKNESS is a paranormal horror addon created for Minecraft Bedrock Edition 1.21.30.

👁️ The Miner

The Miner is a mysterious underground entity that appears in dark cave environments. He does not behave like a normal hostile mob; his purpose is to make the player feel watched and unsafe while exploring underground areas. The Miner does NOT attack the player and does NOT intentionally deal direct damage. His presence is based on atmosphere, unexpected appearances, sounds and environmental events.

⛏️ Underground Appearances

The Miner can appear naturally in underground/cave environments. His appearances are designed to feel unpredictable. The player may encounter him somewhere in the darkness and then lose sight of him. He can also disappear when the player gets too close, creating the feeling that the entity is avoiding direct contact.

🕯️ Paranormal Torch Events

One of the strange events connected to The Miner is the appearance of torches. While exploring, the player may discover that a torch has appeared where there was previously nothing. This creates the question: Who placed it there?

⚡ Lightning Events

Unexpected lightning events can occur during the paranormal experience. The lightning is not meant to be constant. It is used as a sudden atmospheric event to increase tension and make the player feel that something unusual is happening.

🔊 Custom Horror Sounds

The addon contains custom horror sounds designed specifically for The Miner. Different sounds can accompany different moments of the experience, including breathing and ambient sounds, disturbing noises, dragging sounds, hit/event sounds, boss-style atmosphere, ritual/cross-related sounds and other dark atmospheric effects. The sounds are used to make underground exploration feel unpredictable.

🤫 The Silence Event

Sometimes the scariest thing is when nothing happens. The Miner can create moments where the atmosphere becomes extremely quiet. The player may suddenly stop hearing the normal cave atmosphere and realize that something may be nearby. The silence is part of the psychological horror.

👻 Cinematic Jumpscares

The addon includes sudden jumpscare events designed to surprise the player. These moments can combine: The Miner + darkness + sound + sudden appearance to create a cinematic horror experience.

🌑 Disappearances

The Miner can disappear from the player's surroundings. You may see him in one moment and find nothing there when you look again. This behavior is intended to make the player question what they just saw.

🧠 Psychological Horror

The main goal of THE MINER is not to create another enemy to fight. The goal is to make the player think: “Was that The Miner?”, “Who placed that torch?”, “Why did everything become silent?”, “Is something watching me?” The addon uses uncertainty and atmosphere to create fear.

❤️ No Combat Attack

The Miner is not a combat boss. He does not attack the player and is not intended to kill the player. The horror comes from his presence, his appearances, his sounds, the silence and paranormal events around the player.
