The Man From the Fog Remake [With Unique AI]

You might have heard those before, some eerie whispers in the night. Someone luring you into the unknown. Something wants you to find it. Does HE want to just play some Hide and Seek? THUNDER STRUCK!

Let's keep it short and surprise you this time:

M_Productions made the original Man From the Fog! You can find his awsome Java mod here:

Me and my developer friends plan to work on actual original addon projects soon!

Me sometimes still making less original addons is mainly just for practice and fun!

I try to update on older addon content too when possible, sometimes having to alternate a bit!

I have a lot of fun learning new coding methods by using familiar examples!

I made a nice little The Man From the Fog Remake from old resources from Fearcraft I still had on the shelves and used new coding methods to make a really cool (scary) Unique Man From the Fog AI that's both really familiar but also able to catch you off guard really well!

Consider this addon surprise a "Tasty (pre) Dessert"!

Stay tuned for the future! You never know what comes around those corners...

This time we will try something different just for fun!

Let's not spoil anything this time except that the Custom entity in this addon: Can Behave like almost all familiar Updates from the Original you might already be familiar with at random!

Using your Knowledge about this entity "might" give you an nice advantage!

Added compatibility for update 1.21.90 Chase the Skies!
Implemented the Vibrant Visuals texture and features for the Man from the Fog in the main addon(No extra pack needed anymore)!
Known (possible) bug: The Man from the Fog might be a bit too reflective on ultra settings! Please let me know your opinion! I might update this later if needed!

Changelog (I have been generous lol):

Added functional spawneggs for the Man from the fog!
Spawning Him under a roof or tree might spawn Him in hanging state with the same egg!
Updated the sounds yet again on popular demand: Pro's: Louder sounds, way more noticeable, don't miss those whistles anymore! Cons: No
gameplay mechanics like location based sounds etc, less realistic, very basic and quite dull in my opinion lol! I hope this is what you guys like! I have been a bit too generous lately!
Added a poof effect on despawn!
Tweaked the hanging animation to be a bit more lifelike!
Fixed the Tear of the Man drop from killing the Man from the fog!
Having the Tear of the Man in your inventory has some benefits!

Sound improvements: The sounds were indeed hard to notice sometimes! I did a good attempt at improving those! Please let me know if you can notice them now! They are still dynamic though and might differ on distance and rotation etc!
The ones asking for a digging behavior for the Man from the fog, might regret it, after playing this nice little update lmao!
The jumpscare now plays when killed by the Man from the fog instead of on the surprise attacks!
You might already found out, but the Cultist sounds are fixed too lol!

I don't know if this is a bug or part of the mod, since when you have to look at the fog man to get him to chase us, a lightning bolt always strikes him in his location, but when I look at him, a lightning bolt also strikes me and he comes and kills me very quickly. Is it or isn't it a bug?

Здравствуйте, хотел спросить, я вот поиграл где-то 8-10 дней игровых, и так вот это нормально, что он у меня днём спавнится и нападает? Просто если смотреть на оригинальный мод «Человека из тумана», то он только ночью нападать и появлялся должен, да и текстура у него простая, не хватает каких-нибудь деталей, а то он просто чёрный, только глаза и зубы прикольные

  This addon is supposed to be slightly different actually lol! I intended to make something familiar but also with some Bedrock exclusive spices! Please don't blame the entity model too much lol! I got it from a friend in an unusable state and had to tweak it myself a bit to make it work! Even though I'm mainly a coder and not really a designer myself lol! Have you updated the addon and played with Vibrant Visuals yet?

It seems this new version of minecraft is broken because everything else now has an error and if it doesn’t support the current version of minecraft then it won’t work but Hey I love your mods and I especially love the man from the fog

Even if the settings is in default settings or in common resolution, it still spawns so rarely like every 10 to 20 minutes it spawns, i hope you can fix this issue

  I haven't been able to fix it yet unfortunately! It might be a device specific render difference/possible bug! Someone finally shared a proper example of the issue lol! Been trying to so solve it for quite a while now! It might be something I can't fix! I'm still dedicated to my addons tho! I have to maintain and adapt a lot!         1. Entity don't attack
        2. Can't move
        3. Try to check component_groups and maybe for attack or move i need add new component or edit.
        I go again try to find problem

  I think you will need to attack it for it to become aggressive, and sometimes it just starts attacking you. I hope this helped!
