Mob D. The Hovering Inferno, or, the Wildfire. It's a very unique and interesting entity that would spice up the Nether. Unfortunately, it lost. But we, the stubborn men of 2025, have revived him! It's time to brave yourself against the Storm, and get ready to fight the cause of Brimstone!

IMPORTANT!

This addon is made by Nul and Diz Studios, and you are not allowed to clam this addon as your own. This addon is not allowed to be posted on any website that isn't MCPEDL, Curseforge, Modbay, or Planet Minecraft. You may use this addon in a video, but you must give us credit as the creators and have a link to 1 of the 4 sites this addon is on. This is a must do!

Creators:

  • TheEntityNul: Made all the resource Assets. Came up with the idea of a Wildfire addon
  • ForeverAPigman: Coded in everything into the addon.

Everything within the addon is in the Nether, so be prepared with plenty of Fire Resistence. Don't have the options available? Don't worry! There's a new gem hanging around in the nether, with this solution.

The Infernal Rubies

These blazing rubies are constantly burning, always keeping a degrees of 200 Fahrenheit. They can be found in-between Y-level 90 and 35. It is also affected by Fortune, meaning the better your Fortune enchantment, the more you rubies you get to pocket. With these beauties, you can create Infernal Ruby armor! It's around the same as Diamond, but when wearing the complete set, you get Fire Resistence. You can also craft a Infernal Ruby Sword. It's pretty much the same as Diamond, but it's a pretty red! You can't craft the sword with a regular stick, no no no, you need to craft a Netherbrick Rod. A simple stick cannot withstand the heat. Two Netherbricks(NOT the block) is needed to craft the rod.

Not a warrior, but like the color? No worries! With 9 rubies, you can craft an Infernal Ruby Block. Good for decoration or transportation. Not much else.

To fight the Wildfire, you will need to look around for a special structure. This structure is known as the Brimstone Citadel.

Nether fortress with lava and structures.

Within the center of the Citadel, the Wildfire awaits. Underneath it, is some valuebles suspended over Lava, and guarded by Blaze Spawners. Above the center room, 4 chests await. However, they are guarded by 3 Spawners; 2 Blazes and 1 Wither Skeletons. Should you brave the multitude of Guardian Cages, you will be rewarded handsomely.

And now, for the star of this show:

The Wildfire

The Wildfire has a total of 40 health. Now this may not seem like a lot, but there's a good reason for this. Similar to his Dungeons counterpart, you cannot damage him as long as his Blazing Shields are active. You have to destroy all 4 shields to be able to properly kill him. To make it harder, he has 3 strong attacks.

  • Fireball: The Wildfire will fire a burst of 5 Fireballs toward you. This may happen no matter the distance.
  • Blaze Call: If you are a bit too far from the Wildfire, it will let out a strange call, summoning 3 Blazes to his aid.
  • Fire Slam: If you are too close to the Wildfire, it will close its shields together, go high in the air, and slam down, knocking you back for 8 damage.

If you manage to kill the Wildfire, you will get some Blaze Rods, and the chance to obtain the very crown upon his head. The crown provides a good amount of protection, and has near the same durability as Netherite Armor. Be prepared to fight him, the health doesn't mean he is no joke!
