Are you tired of constantly switching between your Pickaxe, Axe, and Shovel while mining or building? The Auto Tool Swap add-on solves this problem completely!

Automatically detects the block you're looking at and swaps to the correct tool in your hotbar, perfect for survival, creative building, and streamlining your gameplay.

How to Use 🎮

Once the pack is applied to your world, the feature is manual by default to prevent accidents. You can enable it using the custom chat command.

To Enable: Open chat and type: !autoswap on
To Disable: Open chat and type: !autoswap off

New Command System: Chat Prefixes
- The Change: Replaced the experimental /auto:swap command (which required Cheats) with a streamlined Chat Prefix system.
- Usage: Simply type !autoswap on or !autoswap off in the chat.
- Privacy: These commands are intercepted by the script and will not appear in global chat, keeping your conversations clean.
- Survival Friendly: You no longer need to enable "Activate Cheats" to use the add-on, allowing you to keep earning Achievements/Trophies (as long as the behavior pack itself is allowed).
Smart Durability Safety
- The Problem: Previously, the mod might swap to a tool that was on the verge of breaking.
- The Solution: The mod now checks durability before swapping. If your best tool has 15 durability or less, the mod will refuse to equip it to save it.
- Feedback: You will see a red warning Action Bar message: Warning: pickaxe Low Durability! so you know why the swap didn't happen.
Enhanced Visual Feedback
- Toggle Status: You now get clear Action Bar messages ([AutoSwap] Active / Inactive) accompanied by audio cues (random.orb / random.click) when toggling the mod.
Builder Protection Logic
- The mod will only swap tools if you are holding a tool or an empty hand. If you are holding a block, the mod remains passive.
