About AutoBE
AutoBE is a software utility designed to simplify the management of Minecraft Bedrock Edition addons. It automates the process of combining multiple behavior packs and resource packs into a single functional modpack, helping users reduce manual setup issues and improve compatibility between addons.
AutoBE does not create addons, distribute addons, or include any third-party content. It operates only on addon files that users already own or have permission to use.
Introducing AutoBE by CodeNex (formerly TheBedrockLab)
AutoBE is built for Minecraft Bedrock Edition players and creators who want a reliable way to manage multiple addons without dealing with complex file structures or repeated compatibility issues.
Whether you are experimenting with addons or organizing a personal modpack, AutoBE helps streamline the process so you can focus on gameplay instead of troubleshooting.

- Other minor fixes
- Updated license and documentation for improved clarity, consumer law compliance, and addon creator protection. No changes to software functionality.
- New theme across the application and redesigned Help section (still needs work; some areas were duplicated during edits). Packs now display the exact min_engine_version.
- New detailed merge calculations: shows merge size and pre-merge size, file counts, files selected, and indicates whether a pack is a BP or RP. New loading process now reports the exact steps being performed and includes an improved verification process.
- New setting: handle MCPACK files as files or convert them into folders. Note: BAN is a permanent ban until the report is resolved.
- Can now merge duplicated items/entities/etc. to an extent (this is still experimental/testing).
- Bug fixes: app not responding during merge; errors at verification end; layout/aspect issues in small windows; improved Help section and added more details to TOS & license; fixed MCPacker not reading certain manifests and merging issues with some manifests.
- More merging features and details planned for 7.5.
- Added project licensing: our own license is now included (temporarily saved as a .txt file).
- Image update note: a planned image change was reverted/canceled (image correction applied where needed).
- Better Script Handling – Extracts scripts separately, renames them to prevent conflicts, and links them in TBL.js.
- Smart JSON Merging – Combines item_texture.json, blocks.json, and sound_definitions.json instead of overwriting.
- Dependency Fixes – Ensures all merged packs use the highest compatible version of @minecraft/server and related APIs.
- Behavior Pack Conflict Resolution – Detects and merges overlapping entity behaviors instead of letting one overwrite the other.
- Custom Namespacing – Renames duplicate functions (my_function.mcfunction → my_function_2.mcfunction) so both work.
- Fixed some bugs, & a new version is coming, 6.3, which will have the list maker & fixes for mcpacker in 6.2. You have to select packs one by one with MCPacker. otherwise, it breaks & some packs will give back more than one or two packs, which is wrong!
- Fixed WMIC.
- If you buy AutoBE, you will now be sent a message from staff within Patreon or Discord. Within that message, you will be sent AutoBE & your validation key.
- After typing the key, wait 5-10 minutes (DO NOT SPAM), then reopen AutoBE.
- Changed the verification to HWS ID.
- Changed the price to 5$.
- Updated scripts for merging due to (1.4.0-beta & 1.16.0-beta, etc.)
- Fixed MCPacker from breaking add-ons when cleaning up.
- MCPacker will rename mcpack files if messed up or not structured properly.
- Moved TheBedrockLab back to the Patreon area instead.
- YouTubers can now get AutoBE for free as long as they make a video about AutoBE itself.
- Updated all my links.
- Updated the description and added new images.
- AutoBE is now only $3, and the demo is somewhat broken, but we are working on it. Ads are broken—that’s all, lol.
